Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ペンにより文字入力面の文字記入枠に手書き入
    力された文字の各ストロークを前記入力面におけ
    るペンの軌跡の時系列座標データとして検出して
    文字認識する手書き文字認識装置において、 前記文字記入枠を基準として、手書き入力され
    た文字の大きさを算出する文字サイズ算出手段と
    、 文字認識の基準としての複数の文字の標準的な
    時系列座標データ、各文字について小文字の存否
    を表すデータ及び小文字が存在する文字について
    その判定のための大きさの基準が記憶された辞書
    部と、 入力された文字のストロークの時系列座標デー
    タを、前記辞書部のデータと比較して文字認識を
    行う文字認識部と、 該文字認識部にて認識された文字の小文字の存
    否を判定し、小文字が存在する場合に前記辞書部
    に記憶されている大きさの基準に従つて、入力さ
    れた文字が小文字であるか否かを判定する小文字
    判定手段と を備えたことを特徴とする手書き文字認識装置。
