  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 光源の光束で像担持体表面を照明し該像担持体
    表面の不要な電荷の除電を行う照明装置において
    、 上記光束を規制して上記像担持体における除電
    領域を決定する光束規制部材を備え、変倍に伴つ
    て変化する該除電領域を照明するよう上記光源の
    位置を調整する調整手段を有することを特徴とす
    る照明装置。
