Conventionally, laminated sheets of foamed sheets made of thermoplastic resin such as foamed polystyrene sheets and transparent thermoplastic resin films or sheets, etc.
Various types of printing were applied, but since it was simply printing on a flat surface, there was no major difference from printing on a foam sheet alone, and it was difficult to make full use of the transparent thermoplastic resin film or sheet. It was a laminated sheet.

Therefore, the present invention consists in a unique method for manufacturing a laminated sheet that makes full use of the transparent film or sheet in the laminated sheet mainly made of foam sheets to give a three-dimensional effect to the printed area. The method is to print partially on one side of a foamed sheet made of thermoplastic resin, or on one side of a transparent thermoplastic resin film or sheet, with an amount of ink that does not thermally fuse each other, and then the above-mentioned method is applied. The foam sheet and the transparent film or sheet are heat-sealed with the printed side facing inside, and the foam sheet and the transparent film or sheet are not heat-sealed in the above partially printed portion and the foam sheet is formed. The transparent film or sheet is bulged outward by air pockets from the side, making the printed area appear three-dimensional.

1 is a foamed sheet made of thermoplastic resin, for example, a foamed polystyrene sheet is used. 2 is a transparent thermoplastic resin film or sheet, and for example, a transparent high-impact polystyrene sheet corresponding to the same polystyrene type as the above-mentioned expanded polystyrene sheet is preferable from the standpoint of facilitating heat fusion described later.

Then, printing 3 is partially applied to one side of the transparent film or sheet 2, and this printing can be done using various oils and fats such as linseed oil, soybean oil, synthetic drying oil, rosin, copal dammar, etc.
Natural and processed resins such as hardened rosin, rosin ester or polymerized rosin, rosin-modified phenolic resin, 100% phenolic resin, maleic acid resin, alkyd resin, petroleum resin, vinyl resin, acrylic resin, polyamide resin, Synthetic resins such as epoxy resins and aminoalkyd resins, fiber derivatives such as nitrocellulose and ethylcellulose, rubber derivatives such as chlorinated rubber and cyclized rubber, and one or more of the following: glue, casein, dextrin, zein, etc. There are printing methods such as letterpress printing, offset printing, gravure printing, or screen printing, hand-drawing, etc., using conventional ink as the main component of the vehicle. The above printing 3 is performed with an amount of ink that does not thermally fuse with the foam sheet 1. For example, in contrast to cyclized rubber printing ink (SSPPNK series ink manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd.), carbonized A printing liquid prepared by adding pigment, wax, etc. to a hydrogen-based solvent is applied to one side of a transparent film or sheet 2 by screen printing or the like (see FIG. 1).

Next, after drying the printing section, the transparent film or sheet 2 is placed on the foam sheet 1, and the printing section 3 is placed on the foam sheet 1.
Heat-seal with the side facing inward. This heat fusion is performed by pressing while heating with a heater (not shown) or other means, but since the printing section 3 has enough ink to prevent heat fusion from each other, Foam sheet 1 is formed without heat-sealing foam sheet 1 and transparent film or sheet 2.
The air coming out from the sides collects and forms a kind of air layer 4 between the foam sheet 1 and the transparent film or sheet 2, and also causes the transparent film or sheet 2 to bulge 5 outward, making the printing part 3 three-dimensional. (See especially Figure 2).

In the above case, the partial printing 3 was applied to one side of the transparent film or sheet 2, but it is also possible to perform the partial printing 3 on the side of the foamed sheet 1 to be heat-sealed (see Fig. 4). , see Figure 5). However, as mentioned above, it is preferable to directly apply the printing 3 to the side of the bulging transparent film or sheet 2 because the three-dimensionality is more emphasized.

In addition, for the foamed sheet 1 and the transparent film or sheet 2, other resins can be used in addition to the polystyrene resins exemplified above, but it is preferable to use a combination of the same type for thermal fusion. It is something.

As described above, according to the present invention, a laminated sheet having a three-dimensional printed area can be provided in an extremely simple manner, and the three-dimensional printed area is formed by expanding only a transparent film or sheet. Since the entire laminated sheet does not have any irregularities, for example, when a container is formed using the laminated sheet described above, a three-dimensional pattern is created only on the outer surface by the printing part, and the inner surface is made of a foam sheet without any pattern. It can be formed on a portion, improves the appearance, and does not impair the hygiene of food containers, etc. In addition, the printed area that has a three-dimensional effect due to the bulges allows the pattern, etc. to emerge and the surface area to increase, making it more accentuated, making it much more elegant than a printed area that is simply a flat surface. According to the method of the invention, since the printed portion is not directly exposed to the outside, the printing itself is highly protected against contact with other objects, and can be used without fading or discoloration.

Therefore, according to the method of this invention, it is possible to provide a unique and beautiful laminated sheet suitable for various uses in addition to the above-mentioned containers.
