Conventionally, various efforts have been made to reproduce the three-dimensional texture of decorative materials such as wood grain patterns, but most of these techniques involve simply embossing the surface of the decorative material or printing liquid-repellent substances. The intention was to reproduce the texture by creating differences in unevenness and reflectance, and by aiming for synchronization with the pattern. However, although this method can express a superficial sense of reality, it cannot express, for example, the inner depth and texture of natural wood, or the subtle optical nuances of the material. On the other hand, the power of the lenticular method being put into practical use as a three-dimensional printing method is that this method requires extremely precise techniques in plate making, printing, post-processing, etc., and it is difficult to manufacture decorative materials such as wood grain patterns. It was not something that could be applied at all. The present inventors solved the above-mentioned drawbacks, found a decorative material that has a three-dimensional texture, can express subtle optical nuances, and does not require special precision work in the manufacturing process, and developed the present invention. This is the completed version.

First, the above-mentioned present invention will be explained using the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an enlarged plan view of the negative part of the decorative material of the present invention, and shows an example of irregular hair lines. FIG. 2 shows a sectional view taken along the line AA' in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the decorative material of the present invention is composed of irregular hairline-shaped image lines on the base material 1 in shading and density. Alternatively, it has a pattern printing layer 2 composed of the image element line and a pattern layer superimposed thereon, and further has a transparent resin layer 3 on the pattern printing layer 2, and the transparent resin layer 3
On the surface thereof, irregular hairline-shaped embossments 4, an example of which is shown in FIG. In the above, it is composed of irregular hairline-like image element lines on the base material,
Alternatively, in order to provide a pattern printing layer composed of the image element lines and a pattern layer superimposed thereon, for example, a wood grain pattern or an abstract pattern can be printed through a transparent resin film embossed with irregular hairline-like unevenness. A method of making an original plate from a manuscript and printing by making a plate according to a printing method such as a gravure method or an offset method, or simply printing a hairline pattern and then applying a pattern layer on top of it using a normal printing method. You can take a method.

That is, the decorative material of the present invention requires irregular hairline-shaped image lines, and either the image lines themselves constitute the pattern, or the image lines themselves are provided independently of the pattern, and the pattern is placed on top of the image lines. By overlapping these layers, a pattern printing layer is created. Further, in the case where direct printing is not possible due to the material of the base material, a pattern printing layer can be provided on the base material by a transfer method. As shown in Figure 1 as an example, the above-mentioned irregular hairline refers to a collection of thin lines that have moderate irregularities in pitch, length, thickness, etc., and have a general direction. Next, to emboss irregular hairline shapes on the surface of the transparent resin layer, the film is melted by heat and an embossing cylinder with hairline-like unevenness is formed using the method normally used for embossing thermoplastic films. A method that can be applied is to press the film onto the surface and peel it off while cooling.Furthermore, as a method used for molding thermosetting resins, a mirror plate with hairline-like unevenness is closely attached to the resin surface and heat pressed. etc. can be taken.

In addition, when a sheet-like material such as paper, cellophane, or resin film is used as the base material in the above, the decorative material of the present invention can also be used by laminating it on another plate-like base material. As is clear from the above explanation, since the decorative material of the present invention has hairline-shaped embossments on the surface, the hairline-shaped embossments act as a kind of plano-convex lens, and the pattern printing layer when viewed through the transparent resin layer is It creates a three-dimensional and extremely interesting sense of substance.

In the decorative material of the present invention, the image lines constituting the pattern printing layer and the hairline-like embossing on the surface of the transparent resin layer are both irregular, so special precision work is required in each process of plate making, printing, and post-reinforcement. It is not necessary and the desired effect can be obtained.

In order to effectively reproduce three-dimensional images, it is important to clearly reproduce the hairline, which is an image element, so when shooting, a hard-toned photosensitive material such as Sakura GHlOOE is used, and the number of screen lines is The plate was made with a fineness of 175 lines/inch and a shallow corrosion depth of about 35 microns at the deepest point, giving the plate high resolution. Next, printing was carried out on a smooth polyvinyl chloride resin film by increasing the viscosity of the ink while being careful not to crush the image lines due to swimming of the ink.

The thus obtained decorative material reproduced a three-dimensional wood grain pattern with the subtle optical nuances of natural wood. Example 2 An irregular hairline pattern of about 80 to 90 lines/inch was printed on a polyvinyl chloride resin film, and then a wood grain pattern that had been made into a general plate by a known method was overprinted.

The obtained film with a pattern printing layer is heat-sealed by sandwiching the printing surface with a transparent polyvinyl chloride resin film (0.2%), and at the same time, an irregular pattern of 100 to 110 lines/inch is printed on the surface. Hairline-like unevenness was formed by embossing. As a result, the embossment on the surface of the transparent film expresses the natural texture of the material, and at the same time, the three-dimensional effect between the lens effect and the pattern printing layer composed of hairline-like image elements reproduces the three-dimensional texture of the material. I let it happen. During embossing, the angles of the hairline pattern printing layer and the embossed hairline irregularities were approximately aligned. The moiré caused by the difference in the number of lines and the angle difference between the two had the effect of further enhancing the three-dimensional effect and natural taste of natural wood.
