[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a matrix for forming a relief on the surface of a painting in the reproduction of a Japanese painting. The purpose is to obtain a matrix.

従来からレリーフ母型を用いた複製に関する技術は主に
洋画を対象として種々研究開発され実用化に至っている
BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, various techniques relating to reproduction using a relief matrix have been researched and developed mainly for Western paintings, and have been put into practical use.

This is because the unevenness of the surface of a Western painting is relatively large and the characteristics of the relief can be easily seen, making it easy to obtain the effect of the relief.

However, in Japanese paintings, the unevenness on the surface of Japanese paintings is relatively small, so it has been impossible to reproduce the unique unevenness on the surface of Japanese paintings using conventional techniques.

However, in recent years, with the advancement of painting reproduction technology, there are expectations for reproductions of Japanese paintings that can realize the unique unevenness of the surface of real paintings, and research and development has begun.
For example, it is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 52-99111.

However, paintings reproduced using the relief matrix according to the present invention still lacked sufficient surface gloss and unevenness.

That is, the relief matrix is made of granules, powder, or a synthetic resin film with approximately equal particle sizes, and is fixed regularly and uniformly on the base layer through an adhesive layer or directly on the base layer. The gloss that appears on the surface of a painting reproduced using a relief matrix is not suitable for Japanese paintings, and the unevenness that is formed on the surface of the reproduced painting is delicate. However, it was far from a real Japanese painting.

果、本考案のレリーフ母型を完成するに至ったのである
As a result of various research and development efforts to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventor has completed the relief matrix of the present invention.

That is, in the present invention, an alum layer 2 is formed on a base material 1 such as Japanese paper, cloth, or a board.
This is a relief matrix used for reproduction of Japanese paintings, which is characterized by applying a mixture of mineral pigments 3 and glue 4 on top of the relief matrix.

本考案を図面に基づいて更に詳しく説明する。The present invention will be explained in more detail based on the drawings.

Alum dissolved in water is applied over the entire surface of a base material 1 such as Japanese paper such as Torinoko or Kumohada hemp paper, cloth, board, etc.

This is to prevent the mixture of mineral pigments 3 and glue 4 from penetrating into the base material when it is applied onto the base material, and by providing the alum layer 2 on the base material, the glue 4 This is to improve familiarity with the material and facilitate the formation of relief.

The alum to be used is suitably so-called burnt alum, but other alums may be used.

Further, the base material 1 is preferably lined with an aluminum plate, a plywood plate, etc. to prevent it from warping.

After the alum layer 2 is provided, mineral pigments 3 and glue (a 7-15% aqueous solution of glue) 4 are mixed at a weight ratio of 1:1 and applied over the entire surface of the alum layer 2.

In this way, when limiting the mixing ratio of mineral pigments 3 and glue 4, if there is less mineral pigment 3 to glue 4,
If there is little change in the swelling caused by the mineral pigments 3 on the surface of the relief matrix, and on the other hand, if there is more mineral pigment 3 compared to the glue 4, many particles of the mineral pigments 3 will appear on the surface of the relief matrix,
This is because the matte surface feel of the glue 4, which is unique to the surface of Japanese paintings, will be impaired.

Application methods include hand painting, roll coating, screen printing, and the like.

岩絵具3としては例えば方解末と水晶末がある。Examples of mineral pigments 3 include calcite powder and crystal powder.

These mineral pigments have more types of particles than other mineral pigments 3, and are inexpensive, so they are suitable as the mineral pigments 3 used in the present invention.

Further, the particles of the mineral pigments 3 mixed with the glue 4 may be a mixture of particles having different sizes, or particles of a constant size may be used.

This can be used selectively to create an effect that is more similar to the real painting, depending on the painting being reproduced.

During application, one type of mixture may be uniformly applied onto the alum layer 2, but it is also possible to partially apply different mixtures to obtain a matte surface and unevenness that match the real painting.

That is, a pattern to be reproduced is formed on a base material 1 such as Japanese paper by a method such as printing or hand-painting, and after an alum layer 2 is provided, mineral pigments 3 with large particles are used for relatively large raised areas, and the raised areas are compared. For small areas, use Mineral Color Paint 3 with small particles.

In this way, a relief matrix 5 used for reproduction of a Japanese painting is obtained which has different degrees of unevenness based on the actual painting in each part of the surface of the relief matrix.

以上説明したレリーフ母型5は次のように使用される。The relief matrix 5 described above is used as follows.

That is, silicone rubber is applied to the surface of the relief matrix 5 obtained, and after forming an inverted relief matrix 6, it is peeled off. Using this inverted relief matrix 6, the painting surface is formed by a known high-frequency molding method or the like. As a result, a reproduction image with relief formed on the surface is obtained (see Fig. 1).

In addition, a Japanese painting is printed using an offset or gravure printing method, a synthetic resin layer is formed on the printed surface, and then an inverse mold 6 of the relief matrix is polymerized on the surface of this synthetic resin layer and heated and pressed. Replicated images can also be obtained by methods such as forming relief on the printed surface of the image.

The relief matrix 5 obtained as explained above is the mineral pigment 3
Tonikawa glue 4 is mixed and applied, so glue 4
are partially raised by the particles of mineral pigments 3, and the particles themselves also partially appear on the surface, making it possible to create uneven unevenness similar to a real painting, faithfully expressing areas with large diffused reflections, etc. (See Figure 2).

また表面は主ににかわ糊4により形成されているのでに

Further, since the surface is mainly formed of the glue 4, fine irregularities are created by the glue 4, resulting in a so-called matte surface, and a matte surface unique to Japanese painting surfaces can be obtained.

In addition, since the surface is expressed as it is in the reverse mold, the reproduction obtained using the relief matrix 5 of the present invention reproduces the surface of the real painting, which has extremely varied ridges, surface gloss, and other subtle changes. It is possible to obtain a reproduced image having a partially uneven matte surface and unevenness unique to the surface of a Japanese painting.
