【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明はＣＣＤイメージセンサに関する。
第２図はＣＣＤイメージセンサの従来例の断面図である
。ＣＣｌ１ｌデバイス１は、外部端子５が接続されたセ
ラミックパッケージ６の中に搭載され、カラーフィルタ
３を介して保護ガラス２で被われている。従来、°この
ＣＣＤデバイス１の表面と保護ガラス２の外部表面との
距離は１．６３ｍｍが標準とされていた。
。ＣＣｌ１ｌデバイス１は、外部端子５が接続されたセ

上述した従来のＣＣＤイメージセンサは、ＣＣＤデバイ
ス１の表面と保護ガラス２の外部表面との距離が近いの
で、保護ガラス２の外部表面に付着している塵埃がＣＣ
Ｄデバイス１の結像面に影を落し、ｉ影に支障を与える
という欠点がある。

本発明のＣＣＤイメージセンサは、ＣＣＤデバイスの表

くなることが判明した。

折によりＣＣＤデバイス１の結像面では薄れてＷｉ影に
影響しなくなった。

以上説明したように本発明は、ＣＣＤデバイスの表面と
保護ガラスの外部表面との間の距離を約３ｍｍとするこ
とにより、保護ガラス上に付着している塵埃のｗ１影に
対する影響が減少し、また保護ガラスの外部表面を清浄
にするための作業を容易にする効果がある。

Claims (1)
- ＣＣＤデバイスと、該ＣＣＤデバイスを被う光フィルタ
と、該ＣＣＤデバイスを保持するセラミックパッケージ
と、受光面を被う保護ガラスによって構成されているＣ
ＣＤイメージセンサにおいて、前記ＣＣＤデバイスの表
面から保護ガラスの外部表面までの距離が３ミリメート
ル前後であることを特徴とするＣＣＤイメージセンサ。
