The following is a polishing apparatus A for wire rods and rods B according to the present invention.
will be explained in detail based on one example. FIG. 1 is a front view of the device A, and FIG. 2 is a side view thereof. In both drawings, the internal parts are partially shown in cross section for the purpose of explanation. A is a polishing device for a wire or bar B, and the wire or bar B passes through the device A from right to left as shown in FIG. Although there is a separate device for pulling the wire or bar B, it is omitted here. 1 is a grit tank filled with grit C obtained by crushing molten metal particles using a cupola or other suitable furnace. As shown in the figure, a wire or bar inlet 2 and a guide 3 are provided on the right side of the grit tank 1. In the center of the grit tank 1, there is a magnetic field layer 4 generated by a coil, which has a large number (but an odd number) of magnetic fields.
The N and S poles are arranged alternately, and a wire or bar is passed through them. A degaussing device 5 consisting of a coil is installed on the left side of the grit tank 1, leading to a wire or bar outlet 6. Further, a vibration motor 21 is attached to the lower center of the grit tank 1, and grit discharge ports 7 are provided at the bottom of both left and right sides of the vibration motor 21. Reference numeral 8 designates a hopper 8 which receives the grit C discharged from both of the discharge ports 7 and concentrates the grit C discharged into the drain pipe 9 at the tip of the central lower part of the hopper 8, which is placed in a bucket conveyor tank 10. (not shown) to the top, and the grit is fed into the grit tank 1 again from the grit supply cylinder 11. 1
2 is an inspection opening in the grit tank 1, and shows a door 13 and a handle 14, which can be opened and closed. 15
is a plurality of springs 1 supporting the grit tank 1
It is 5. 16 is an electric motor for driving the bucket conveyor in the bucket conveyor tank 10, and 17 is a manual handle. Incidentally, a blind lid 18 is attached to the lower part of the conveyor tank 10. Reference numeral 19 denotes an exhaust pipe, which is installed at the top of the main body 20 of the apparatus A and connected to a dust collector (not shown).

The operation of the polishing apparatus A for wire or bar B having the above configuration will be described below. As shown in the figure, the wire or bar B enters the grit tank 1 installed in the main body 20 of the device A from the entrance 2 of the wire or bar B, and the grit filled in the grit tank 1 passes through the guide 3. While passing through the C layer, its surface is sufficiently polished. Further, the wire or bar B reaches a magnetic field layer 4 generated by a coil in the center of the grit bath 1, and a large number of N
In the process of passing between the pole and the south pole, black scale, rust, dust, etc. on the surface of the wire or bar B are scraped off and removed as it passes through friction with the grit C. However, these black scales, rust, dust, etc. are attached to the magnetic poles, and the surface of the wire or bar B becomes a clean surface. Subsequently, the wire or bar B passes through the coil of the degaussing device 5 installed last, so that all the magnetism of the wire or bar B is erased, and the wire or bar B passes through the wire or bar outlet 6 to the main body 20. Go outside.

In addition, regarding demagnetization of Grit C, if the magnetic pole is changed according to the operating time, the electric switch is instantaneously switched at the end of the operation, and the electricity is turned on for a certain period of time,
It can be demagnetized. Furthermore, the demagnetizer 5 has a strong magnetic force (cylindrical shape), and can demagnetize the wire or bar B by passing through the center of both magnetic poles. Prevents magnetization of wire or bar B and grit C

As described above, the wire or bar polishing apparatus of the present invention magnetizes grit by alternately arranging an odd number of SN poles so that both ends have the same polarity in a grit tank containing grit for polishing. A magnetic field layer is formed, and the material to be polished, such as a wire or rod, is arranged so as to pass through the grit that is magnetized to the magnetic field layer, so that the grit is magnetically attracted to the magnetic field layer and its friction The force is greatly increased, and as a result, the increased abrasive force scrapes off all the substances that have adhered to and formed on the surface of the wire or bar while passing through the grit, causing scratches on the wire or bar. Not only can the surface be perfectly and beautifully polished without any problems, but also a demagnetizing device is placed behind the exit of the magnetic field layer,
Since the wire or bar is arranged so as to pass through the demagnetizer, the magnetic properties of the wire or bar during polishing work can be completely and quickly erased, and there is no grit attached, leaving it clean. It is possible to obtain surface wire rods or rods. Furthermore, since the SN pole of the magnetic field layer is alternately switched in reverse, it is possible to demagnetize the grit by electrically switching it at the moment the operation ends and applying electricity for a certain period of time, so that the grit becomes a wire. Another advantage is that it does not leave the magnetic field layer while remaining attached to the bar.
