がバンパの場合、バンパ3の弾性変形範囲が大き
いのでこのようになる可能性が多くなり、軽衝突
でバンパ3は損傷しないにもかかわらずフエンダ
パネル2だけ変形してしまうという問題点があつ
た。なお、この類似構造は実開昭56―75052号公
報に見られる。

端部の下方にバンパの一部を、それぞれの面の延
長がおおむね相互に連続するよう配設した構造に
おいて、該フエンダパネルの前端に先端が固結さ
れて内部に延び基端が車体側に固定された補強部
材を設け、該補強部材に、バンパが後方に移動し
たとき該バンパ上面を該フエンダパネルに干渉し
ないよう案内する案内部を形成したことを特徴と
するフエンダ補強構造とし、補強部材によりフエ
ンダパネル前端部を補強することにより強度剛性
を高くして容易に変形しないようにするとともに
補強部材の案内部によりバンパ上部をフエンダパ
ネルと干渉しない方向に案内するようにして軽衝
突ではバンパがフエンダパネルに干渉せずフエン
ダパネルが変形しないようにして自動車の外観品
質を維持できるようにしたものである。
