Abstract

PURPOSE:To reasonably integrally mold a multilayer molded item with favorable feeling by a method wherein a mold, on the surface of the cavity abutting against woven fabric or nonwoven fabric of which minute rugged pattern is given, is employed. CONSTITUTION:A woven fabric or nonwoven fabric 20 is fed between a top and a bottom forces and an upper platen is lowered to a proper position so that the top and the bottom forces do not close yet in order to feed fluxed thermoplastic resin from a feed opening 7 between the bottom force and the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric. While the resin being fed, the upper platen is further lowered so as to press the molten resin with the top force 2 and the bottom force 4 in order to shape the resin, resulting in obtaining a laminated molded item 22 produced by pasting the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric 20 with the resin 21. At this time, a mold, on the surface of the cavity of the top force of which minute rugged pattern is employed so as to fix the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric by pressure mainly with the projected parts 12 on the surface of the cavity of the top force and the cavity surface of the bottom force. The woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is comparatively hard to be fixed by pressure with the recessed parts on the surface of the cavity of the top force. Accordingly, as a whole, the feeling of the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is easy to be kept.

Plastic molded products are used in large quantities in all fields including automobiles and home appliances due to their economic efficiency, free formability, and fg:fi properties. It has disadvantages such as easy scratching, and there has been a strong demand for decoration, softness, etc.
In the past, various studies have been made to obtain compounds with functions that satisfy these demands, but it has been found that a single material that maintains free formability and strength while improving the surface properties of the above-mentioned drawbacks. However, at present, multilayer molded products that combine multiple materials with different functions are commonly used. [Problems to be solved by the invention] Various molding methods have been proposed as a method for integrally molding using Multilayer molded products obtained by integral molding using thermoplastic resins generally have the problem that the texture of the woven or nonwoven fabric is significantly damaged by pressure and/or heat. 0 This problem can be solved by low-pressure molding using a press molding method, which can be significantly improved over injection molding methods, and it may be possible to put it into practical use by selecting woven or non-woven fabrics. , nonwoven fabrics are limited and lack diversity.

The purpose of the present invention is to improve the shortcomings of these conventional methods and provide a method for rationally integrally molding a multilayer molded product with a good texture using a wide range of woven or nonwoven fabrics. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic resin in a molten state, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric C with a backing material lined on the back side, or a backing material on the back side of a thermoplastic resin, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric C, or (including laminated sheets, films, various foams, papers, etc.) is supplied between molds, and the thermoplastic resin and the woven fabric or non-woven fabric are laminated together by applying pressure and cooling. ◇ The mold cavity surface used in the present invention is a molding method characterized by using a mold in which a fine uneven pattern is provided on the mold cavity surface that comes into contact with the woven or nonwoven fabric. The fine unevenness pattern is similar to the grain pattern of various patterns used to give a fine unevenness pattern to the surface of molded products in injection molding of thermoplastic resin, etc. The pitch, depth, etc. of the unevenness are adjusted depending on the type of skin material.

Next, as shown in Figure 2, the upper platen is lowered to an appropriate position where the upper and lower molds are not closed, and the plasticized and molten thermoplastic resin is poured into the lower mold and the woven fabric or Feeding between non-woven fabrics, while feeding or immediately after feeding,
Lower the upper platen further and separate the upper mold (2) and lower mold (
In step 4), the molten resin is pressed and shaped as shown in FIG. 8 to obtain a laminate molded product (22) in which the woven or nonwoven fabric (20) and the resin (21) are laminated together.

In this molding method, when the upper mold cavity surface is a flat surface, the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is uniformly crimped on the flat surface, so the texture of the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is generally likely to be impaired. , when using a mold with a fine unevenness pattern on the surface of the upper mold cavity, the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric mainly forms the convex portions ( 12) is crimped with the lower mold cavity surface, and is relatively difficult to be crimped in the recesses of the upper mold cavity surface. Therefore, the texture of the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric as a whole is easily maintained. A material with a small pitch and a deep depth is more suitable for wood purposes, but there are also problems with workability, so it is best to keep it to the extent necessary depending on the characteristics of the skin material.

When using a highly rigid and thick woven fabric or non-woven fabric, good results can be obtained with an upper mold that has a relatively large pitch and shallow uneven surface.〇In addition, a backing material etc. is laminated on the back side. When a woven or nonwoven fabric is used, retention of texture is further improved.
