Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to form various decorative patterns with a single mold by a method wherein a flat identification pattern is formed on a surface, which belongs to a front layer side or a base layer side molded in advance and opposedly contacts with the other side. CONSTITUTION:When the successive lamination of a front layer side to a base layer side, which is molded firstly, is intended, a base layer side 21, which is held in a core mold 3b, has been formed by filling synthetic resin 21' in a space made between a core mold 3a and a first cavity mold 6 approached from the left side of a base 2. When the cavity mold 6 is moved so as to part from the core mold after the molding of the base layer side, the base 2 is rotated through 90 deg. so as to shift the core mold to the top side of the base and stopped. After that, a rigid sheet-like identification member 22 is provisionally fixed to the base layer side. After the adhesion of the member 22, the base 2 is rotated again through 90 deg. so as to face the base layer side to a second cavity mold 7. After that, a front layer side is formed by filling synthetic resin 23' in a space made between a core mold 3c and the second cavity mold 7. The identification member 22 is molded by being sandwiched between the base layer side 21 and the front layer side 23. In addition, the base layer side 21 and the front layer side 23 are molded integrally with each other. Further, the surface, which belongs to the side molded in advance and opposedly contacts with the other side, is made flat and identification pattern is made in flat with the identification member 22 or by hot stamping, printing or the like on said flat surface and, after that, the front layer side 23 is laminate-molded by filling with the molten resin 23'.

Using this injection mold, the base layer side and the surface layer side are laminated and molded using different synthetic resins. As for the synthetic resin, a colored opaque synthetic resin such as a mixture of polycarbonate resin and ABS resin is used for the base layer side, and decorativeness can be further improved by mixing a light-reflecting substance such as metal powder with this synthetic resin. can. Furthermore, a colorless or colored transparent or semitransparent synthetic resin such as methyl methacrylate resin can be used for the surface layer side. Each of the synthetic resins is filled into the cavity mold 6.7 from the injection nozzle 8.9 in a molten state, but in order to avoid mixing with each other during stacking, the synthetic resins that are injection molded first have a melting temperature of 250 to 270. It is preferable to use a synthetic resin having a melting temperature of about 230 to 240°C, which is relatively abrasive temperature, as the synthetic resin to be laminated and molded later.

One side of the base layer side 21 is shaped as a small uneven surface 21a with an uneven surface 6a on the inner surface of the cavity, and the other side has a fixing means 21b such as a boss for bearing a stud bolt or a fixing means 21b for attaching to the object to be attached. The fixture can be integrally molded. When the cavity mold 6 moves away from the mold after forming the base layer side 21, the base 2 rotates 90 degrees and moves upward in FIG. 1 like the core mold 3b while holding the base layer side 21 and stops. An identification member 22 formed into a relatively rigid sheet shape is temporarily fixed to the base layer side 21 as shown in FIG. As the identification member 22, a metal plate made of aluminum or stainless steel or a hard synthetic resin film or sheet cut into a desired shape can be used, or as shown in FIG. A printing unit 22b4 may be provided. Adhesive can be attached to the back surface for temporary fixing, and even if the uneven surface 21a is formed on one side of the base layer side 21 during this temporary fixing, the identification member 22 is relatively rigid. It can be formed as a flat identification pattern. After the identification member 22 is attached, the base 2 is rotated by 90 degrees, thereby moving to the right side in FIG. Face to face with 7. When the cavity mold 7 moves in close proximity to the core mold 3C and fills the space between it and the core mold 3C with a colored and transparent synthetic resin 23' from the injection nozzle 9, the synthetic resin 23' fills the irregularities of the base layer side 21. It can be formed as the surface layer side by extending the surface into the cavity space. When injecting this synthetic resin 23', in addition to using a material with a relatively low melting temperature as described above, the molten resin 23' is injected onto the uneven surface 21a of the base layer side 21.
It is preferable to fill the molten resin 23' through a gate 12 through which the molten resin flows upward from the sprue 11 located away from the cavity surface, as shown in FIG. 5, so as not to apply the injection pressure 23' directly. When the molten resin 23' moves in the cavity space so as to cover the upper side of the identification member 22, as shown in FIG. The uneven surface 21a of the identification member 22 is slightly deformed so as to be crushed, and the adhesive 22c of the identification member 22 is filled in the recesses to firmly adhere the identification member 22.
