Description

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、合成樹脂製の模様付き蓋状体をインサート成形により成形する方法と該成形方法で使用する金型に関する。

頂板の上面へ、シート材をインサート成形した蓋体、該蓋体の成形方法、および該蓋体成形に使用する金型が特許文献1に示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
透明蓋体の頂板下面へ模様を付設すれば、外観上その模様は透明な頂板を介して目視されることとなるため、頂板上面に付した模様と異って深みのある模様とすることが出来、又頂板下面へ他物が接することは少ないから、頂板上面へ付設した模様の場合と異り、摩擦等により模様が薄れたり、剥離するおそれがない。
よって透明蓋体の頂板下面への模様の付設が要望されるが、蓋体周壁が邪魔となるため、その頂板下面への印刷は困難であり、インサート成形することが考えられる。該頂板下面へのインサート成形を、頂板の上面形成用金型面の中央にゲートを設けて、該ゲートからキャビティ内への樹脂材料射出によって行えば、頂板の下面形成用金型部分の上面へ付着させたインサート成形用フィルムは樹脂材料射出によって下方へ押付けられて移動等することがなく、好都合ではあるが、このようにすると成品としての蓋体頂板の中央部にゲート跡が残り、外見上好ましくない。よってゲートは頂板外周面の一部ないし周壁外面の上端部へ設けることとなるが、このようにすると頂板下面形成用金型部分上面へ付着させた、上記インサート成形用フィルムが横ずれを生じ易い。
本発明は上記欠点を除去することを目的とした成形方法および該成形方法で使用する金型に関する。尚本発明において透明とは、半透明も含むものとする。又本発明において蓋状体とは、頂板外周から周壁を垂下する蓋体の他、頂板外周から周壁を垂下する台等を含むものとする。
【課題を解決するための手段】
第1の手段として頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下する蓋状体6形成用のキャビティ1を固定金型11と可動金型12との間に有し、かつ該キャビティ外周面の上方一部にゲート7を設けた、蓋状体形成用金型において、
上記頂板2の下面形成用上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成用外周面14とを有する凸状金型部分16を可動金型12に設け、上記ゲート7と対向する、凸状金型部分上面の外縁部からフランジ21を起立させ、又該フランジ内面へ当接させて凸状金型部分上面へ模様付きフィルム19を付着させ、該フィルムをインサート成形して透明蓋状体6を形成する。
第2の手段として頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下する蓋状体6形成用のキャビティ1を固定金型11と可動金型12との間に有し、かつ該キャビティ外周面の上方一部にゲート7を設けた、蓋状体形成用金型において、
上記頂板2の下面形成用上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成用外周面14とを有する凸状金型部分16を可動金型12に設け、上記ゲート7側の外縁と対向する、凸状金型部分16上面の外縁部分からフランジ22を起立させ、又該フランジ内面へ当接させて凸状金型部分上面へ模様付きフィルム19を付着させ、該フィルムをインサート成形して透明蓋状体6を形成する。
第3の手段として上記凸状金型部分16上面13へ開口するバキューム通路15を穿設し、該凸状金型上面へ載置させた模様付きフランジ19を吸着させてインサート成形する。
第4の手段として、上記第1、第2、又は第3の手段を有すると共に上記凸状金型部分16上面13へ開口するバキューム通路15を穿設し、該凸状金型上面へ載置させた模様付きフィルム19を吸着させてインサート成形する。
第5の手段として、頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下する蓋状体6形成用のキャビティ1を固定金型11と可動金型12との間に有し、かつ該キャビティ外周面の上方一部にゲート7を設けた、蓋状体形成用金型において、

上記頂板2の下面形成用上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成用外周面14とを有する凸状金型部分16を可動金型12に設け、上記ゲート7側の外縁と対向する、凸状金型部分16上面の外縁部分から、上記凸状金型部分16の上面へ載置されてインサート成形される、模様付きフィルム19のゲート側と対向する側の端面当接用のフランジ22を起立させた。
第7の手段として、頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下する蓋状体6形成用のキャビティ1を固定金型11と可動金型12との間に有し、かつ該キャビティ外周面の上方一部にゲート7を設けた、蓋状体形成用金型において、
上記頂板2の下面形成用上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成用外周面14とを有する凸状金型部分16を可動金型12に設け、該凸状金型部分の上面13全周から、該上面へ載置されてインサート成形される、模様付きフィルム19の全周当接用のフランジ17を起立させた。
第8の手段として、上記第5、第6、又は第7の手段を有すると共に上記凸状金型部分16上面13へ開口するバキューム通路15を有する。
【発明の実施の形態】
以下図面について説明すると、1は、図6、図8が示すような、頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下し、該周壁の左右両側壁3a後端から軸受板4,4を垂下し、これ等軸受板の各下端部に軸受孔5,5を穿設した蓋体6形成用のキャビティで、該キャビティを固定金型11と可動金型12との間に形成している。該キャビティは、外周面の上方一部、具体的には上記周壁の後壁3b上部の左右方向中間上部の後面、ないしは頂板後面の左右方向中間下部にゲート7を有する。上記蓋体を、頂板外周から周壁を垂下するだけの台とする場合は、軸受板4、4を省略する。
又可動金型11は、上記頂板の下面形成面としての上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成面としての外周面14とを有し、かつ上記上面13へ、バキューム通路15を開口する凸状金型部分16を有する。そのバキューム通路15は、図示のように上記凸状金型部分の中央部上部をコア金型16a で形成し、該コア金型の下面および外周面へ穿設した溝で形成すればよい。
上記凸状金型部分16上面で、ゲート7と対向する外縁側からはフランジ21を起立させており、該フランジ内面へ当接させて、上記上面13へ図5が示す、模様18付きフィルム19を吸着させている。
図1が示す状態から、キャビティ1内へ溶融樹脂材料20を射出すると、ゲート7からキャビティ1内へ射出された溶融樹脂材料は、キャビティの周壁形成部分および頂板形成部分内へ入るが、ゲート7と対向する、上記フィルム19の端面部分は、該ゲートと対向するフランジ21部分の内面へ当接しているから、ゲート7から射出された溶融樹脂材料がフィルムの端面を押圧することはなく、フィルム19上面を下方へ押圧することとなり、よってフィルム19がフランジ21内面から外方へずれることはなく、このようにしてフィルム19を頂板2下面の所定位置へ正確にインサート成形することが可能となる。
尚上記フランジ21は、図3が示すように、ゲート7側と対向する、凸状金型部分上面の外縁、つまり図示例では蓋体周壁の前壁形成側の凸状金型上面外周部からだけ起立させてもよく、又図4が示すように凸状金型部分上面の全周から起立させてもよい。
図3の場合は、ゲート7から射出された溶融樹脂材料が、フィルム19を図左方へ押圧することとなるが、該フィルムは図左方に設けたフランジ21内面へ接しているため、左方へ位置ずれすることはない。
それ等いずれの場合も上記フィルム19は、フランジ内面へフィルム19外周面の一部ないし全周を当接させて凸状金型部分上面へ吸着させる。
凸状金型部分16上面への模様付きフィルム19の付設は、バキューム通路での吸着のほか、例えば接着剤使用等による付着も考えられる。
既述各実施形態のようにして、インサート成形が終わった後に、金型を開き、蓋状体6としての成形品を取出す。
第1実施形態により成形された蓋状体は、ゲート跡24側の頂板内面の外縁と、該外縁部から垂下する側壁内面上端とが形成する隅部分から下面開口の浅溝が起立することとなり、第2実施形態の場合は、ゲート跡24側と対向する頂板部分内面の外縁と該外縁から垂下する側壁内面とが形成する隅部分から下面開口の浅溝が起立することとなり、第3実施形態の場合は、図6、図7が示すように頂板2の下面外周と周壁3内面上端とが形成する隅部全周から既述フランジ抜け跡としての下面開口浅溝23が形成されることとなる。
尚既述模様付きフィルム19は、転写フィルムとしてもよく、この場合は蓋状体形成後に、転写後のフィルムだけ、頂板2下面から剥離し、模様18は頂板2下面へ転写させることとなる。
【発明の効果】
本発明は既述構成とするもので、請求項1から請求項4記載のようにすることで、模様付きフィルム19を蓋状体頂板2の下面の所定位置へ正確にインサート成形することが出来、その模様18は蓋状体頂板2の下面へ付設されることとなるため、頂板上面へ付設された模様と異り、頂板を透視してその模様を見ることとなるため深みのある模様となって見えることとなり、このように深みのある模様付きの透明ないし半透明蓋状体の成形を容易に行うことが出来る。又このように成形された蓋状体は頂板上面へ付設した模様の場合と異り、摩擦等により模様が薄れたり、剥離するおそれがない。
又請求項5から請求項8記載の金型を使用して成形することで、上記請求項1から請求項4記載の蓋状体の成形を容易に行うことが出来る。

頂板2外周から周壁3を垂下する蓋状体6形成用のキャビティ1を固定金型11と可動金型12との間に有し、かつ該キャビティ外周面の上方一部にゲート7を設けた、蓋状体形成用金型において、
上記頂板2の下面形成用上面13と、周壁3の内周面形成用外周面14とを、有する凸状金型部分16を可動金型12に設け、上記ゲート7と対向する、凸状金型部分上面の外縁部からフランジ21を起立させ、又該フランジ内面へ当接させて凸状金型部分上面へ模様付きフィルム19を付着させ、該フィルムをインサート成形して透明蓋状体6を形成する
ことを特徴とする、合成樹脂製の模様付き透明蓋状体の成形方法。
