DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing edge decking using a continuous roll laminator.

Traditionally, edge decks have been manufactured by laminating natural wood veneers onto a base plywood and then finishing the top, but edge decks can be made in long pieces with a length of 3,600 to 4,000 mm. In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult to obtain long natural wood veneers without defects, and they have also become very expensive.

そこで、最近はその代替品として合板に「透明

Therefore, recently, as an alternative, plywood is laminated with a sheet with a structure of "transparent vinyl chloride sheet/patterned/colored vinyl chloride sheet", which is cheaper than edge decking made of natural wood veneer. It has been growing rapidly for a number of reasons. However, in the pasting process during the manufacturing process, the continuous roll lamination method causes the vinyl chloride sheet to expand and contract due to the tension on the machine, making stable work difficult. Unavoidably, the vinyl chloride sheet does not have the property of absorbing volatile matter after being pasted, so it has the disadvantage of having to be pressed for a long time until the adhesive hardens. This was a major hindrance to productivity.

The present invention was made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional methods as described above, and by using a nonwoven fabric instead of a colored vinyl chloride sheet, it is possible to use a continuous roll laminator, and the pressure can be maintained for a long time. This eliminates the need for tightening.

以下図面に従つて詳細に説明する。 A detailed explanation will be given below with reference to the drawings.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, a desired pattern 2 is applied to the back side of a transparent or translucent vinyl chloride sheet 1, and then an adhesive 3 is applied to the surface so that the main fibers are made of polyester or polypropylene. 0.12mm

A decorative sheet 5 is obtained by pasting a nonwoven fabric 4 which has a good texture as a nonwoven fabric of 10 kg/5 cm or more, is dense, and has strong interlaminar strength. Since this decorative sheet 5 has a nonwoven fabric as part of its structure, it has very little elasticity with respect to the tension on the laminator, and is characterized by better compatibility with adhesives than a vinyl chloride sheet.

As described above, the edge deck obtained by the present invention has a structure that has low expansion and contraction, high interlaminar strength, and includes a nonwoven fabric with remaining fiber portions, so that when it is attached to a base material using a continuous roll laminator, The decorative sheet does not expand or contract during the process, resulting in good adhesion accuracy, and there is no peeling of the decorative sheet due to expansion and contraction after pasting. From a production perspective, production efficiency is good because continuous lamination work with a continuous laminator can speed up the process. In addition, the surface of the nonwoven fabric allows the adhesive to penetrate much better than that of a vinyl chloride sheet, and as the adhesive penetrates into the nonwoven fabric sufficiently, the interlaminar strength is improved, and there is no need for a pressure tightening process after pasting. It has the following effects.

In addition, the composition of the decorative sheet before being attached to the base material is as follows:
Other methods than those shown in FIG. 1 are also possible. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, a transparent resin 12 can be applied to the surface of a transparent or translucent vinyl chloride sheet to eliminate the vinyl chloride appearance on the surface. Note that this transparent resin may be applied after the decorative sheet is attached to the base material.

Example 2 One side of a transparent vinyl chloride sheet for flooring with a thickness of 0.12 mm was coated with 15 g/m 2 (dry) of acrylic urethane resin using a reverse roll coater, and then vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate resin was applied to the unpainted side of the sheet. Using gravure ink, a four-color pine board pattern, including solids, was printed in the opposite order of printing.
