The textured decorative board has many unevenness on its surface.
Until now, it has been manufactured as follows. In other words, the surface of a rigid core material such as thick plywood, particle board, or wood (board) is processed using an NC router to create an uneven shape, and then a decorative veneer is pasted along the unevenness. It was manufactured by. However, when producing a decorative board with irregularities in this manner, the router process is time-consuming, so the cost of the resulting product is high.

This invention was made in view of these circumstances, and involves forming unevenness on the surface of a rigid core material by partially applying pressure that can cause xylem breakage. The gist of this method is to obtain a decorative board with irregularities by attaching a thin decorative material to the surface of a core material along the irregularities.

That is, according to the findings of the inventor, when pressure that can cause xylem destruction is applied to a portion of the surface of the core material, the fiber arrangement is destroyed in that portion and the restorability is lost. After the pressure is removed, the desired irregularities occur. Rigid core materials such as thick plywood, particle board, and peeled wood are
It was conventional wisdom that unlike soft materials such as insulation boards and semi-hard boards, press forming was not possible, but the inventor discovered that By using a special pressure process called "partial addition", it became possible to apply the desired unevenness to a rigid material by pressure forming. Therefore, by pasting the decorative material along the unevenness, a decorative board with unevenness can be easily obtained. Note that the core material here has the meaning of a base material for the decorative board, and is different from heartwood. Heartwood is the central part of a log, and is a term used to describe small-diameter wood. Moreover, rigidity means strength against pressurization, that is, compressive strength. When the above-mentioned rigid material is pressurized to a certain level or higher, the space formed by the wood fibers and various tissues is crushed, resulting in xylem destruction. The compressive strength of the rigid material is, for example, about 80 to 400 kg/cm 2 . On the other hand, the above-mentioned soft materials are made from fibers that have been defibrated, so they gradually deform as pressure is applied, and it can be said that the wood does not break. This is only a slight stress caused by the binder. The pressing force capable of compressively deforming the soft material into a band is about 5 to 50 kg/cm 2 .

Core material with rigidity (hereinafter referred to only as "core material")
The formation of irregularities by locally applying pressure that can cause xylem failure to the surface of
This is done by placing a mold with a large number of depressions and depressions on the pressing surface on the surface of the core material, and applying pressure to this mold. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, a core material 1 is placed on a flat lower mold 2, an upper mold 3 having an uneven pressing surface is made to face the surface of the core material 1, and from this state the upper mold is placed. The mold 3 is lowered and pressurized with a pressure that can cause xylem destruction. Then, the upper mold 3 is raised. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2, many irregularities are formed on the surface of the core material 1. In this case, as the core material 1,
Commonly used materials such as thick plywood, verteckle board, and timber as described above are used.

Next, a thin decorative material (not shown) is adhered to the surface of the core material 1 on which many irregularities are formed along the irregularities. This adhesion is usually performed by adhering a thin decorative material along the many irregularities on the surface of the core material 1 using a vacuum press. As a thin decorative material, a decorative veneer is usually used, but it is not limited to this.

In this way, a decorative board with unevenness (not shown)
is obtained. This decorative board is formed by applying pressure that can cause the unevenness formed on the core material 1 to break the wood, and the fiber arrangement is destroyed and there is no restorability, so it absorbs moisture and water. The shape of the unevenness does not change even if Therefore, it is excellent in that dimensional changes do not occur. Further, the unevenness formed on the core material 1 is such that even after the decorative material is attached, a deep, tight three-dimensional pattern with sharp corners appears on the surface of the decorative board. .

As described above, the present invention forms irregularities on the surface of the core material by partially applying pressure that can cause xylem breakage, and then applies pressure along the irregularities to the surface of the core material on which the irregularities are formed. Since a decorative board with irregularities is obtained by pasting a thin decorative material, it is easy to form irregularities, and costs can be reduced. In addition, a mold with an uneven pressing surface is placed on the surface of the core material to form unevenness by partially applying pressure that can cause xylem breakage. When this is done by applying pressure, there is an effect that a large number of concave and convex portions of the same shape can be formed in one operation.

[Example 1] Plywood with a thickness of 15 mm was placed on a flat lower mold, an upper mold with an uneven pressing surface was placed on the surface of the plywood, and this upper mold was pressurized to 150 kg/cm 2 using a hydraulic press. Press,
The wood was destroyed on the surface side of the plywood, creating many uneven surfaces. Next, apply vinyl acetate adhesive to the surface of the plywood, place a 0.15 mm thick decorative veneer that looks like a natural wood veneer on top of it, and reduce the pressure with a vacuum press to apply the decorative veneer to the uneven surface of the plywood. I pasted it along the In this way, a decorative board with unevenness was easily obtained.

[Example 2] Particle board with a thickness of 20 mm was placed on a flat lower mold, and an upper mold with an uneven pressing surface was placed on the surface of the board, and this upper mold was used to cause wood breakage. Heat and pressurize at a pressure of 200Kg/ cm2 ,
After forming many irregularities on the surface of the board,
Apply rubber adhesive to the surface of the board, place a 0.20 mm thick decorative veneer made of natural wood veneer on top of it, and apply pressure with a rubber roller to stick the decorative veneer along the unevenness of the board surface. I arrived. In this way, a decorative board with unevenness was easily obtained.
