DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a termite-proofing method for applying termite-proofing treatment to the subfloor soil surface for the purpose of protecting wooden buildings from termite damage.

(Prior art) Conventionally, as a method of protecting wooden buildings from damage caused by termites, termites nest underground by kneading or spraying a powder or emulsion containing chlordane as the main ingredient into the soil on the premises. Methods are being used to exterminate termites or make them incapable of living in the future.

However, as has recently been reported in the newspapers, the ``chlordane'' that has been used so far is an organic chlorine insecticide that does not decompose for a long time and has a large residual content, so it is not used as a termite control agent. The more widely used it is, the greater the possibility that it will cause harmful effects over a wide area, such as penetrating deep into the ground and causing contamination of groundwater and rivers, as well as other pollution, and administrative restrictions on its use will become necessary. It has started to be done.

Therefore, in order to meet this demand, we have recently developed a construction method in which the above-mentioned termite control agent is kneaded into synthetic resin to create a sheet, or mixed into asphalt emulsion, and then laid or sprayed on the soil surface beneath the floor. With the development of the drug, the problem of the contamination of the drugs mentioned above was overcome.

However, in the method of laying the sheet, the soil surface itself under the floor is not flat and has a variety of shapes, and the sides of the cloth foundation are uneven, so it is difficult to lay the sheet along the side of the cloth foundation without any gaps. However, the method of spreading asphalt mixed with asphalt emulsion has good workability, but as mentioned above, because the soil surface itself under the floor is not flat, They tend to accumulate, and conversely, not enough chemicals are sprayed on convex areas, and
Depending on the soil condition, there are areas with good absorption and areas with poor absorption.
The problem was that the chemical spraying was not uniform and the construction was loose.

(Structure of the Invention) The termite prevention construction method of the present invention is to lay a sheet that is easily impregnated with liquid on the subfloor soil surface at least on the inside of a cloth foundation in a wooden building, along the entire circumference along the inside surface of the cloth foundation. After that, the sheet is coated or sprayed with a liquid hardening type chemical solution mixed with an anti-termite agent to impregnate and harden the sheet.

(Example) Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional slope diagram showing a part of the subfloor soil around the cloth foundation constructed by the termite prevention construction method of the present invention. A sheet 3 that is easily impregnated with liquid is laid on the inner subfloor soil 2 surrounded by , along the inner surface of the cloth foundation 1 and all around it. The sheet 3 is selected from non-woven fabric, woven fabric, paper, synthetic resin open foam, etc. It is preferable to use a non-woven fabric with good impregnability because it is convenient in terms of strength and cost. A width of 25cm is best.

When laying this sheet, the sheet rolled up at the time of shipment from the factory is unwound at the site while pressing one side of the sheet against the side surface of the cloth foundation, and is laid on the surface of the subfloor soil.

In addition, when laying the sheet, the edge of the sheet does not necessarily have to be in contact with the side of the cloth foundation, and even if there is a slight gap, apply a hardening liquid chemical mixed with the termite agent described below. Or filled by spraying.

The applied or sprayed chemical solution is impregnated into the sheet and is later cured. Furthermore, when the sheet is impregnated with the chemical solution, the sheet itself is softened and can sufficiently adapt to the irregularities of the subfloor soil.

For example, asphalt emulsions, rubberized asphalt emulsions, Latinx, wax emulsions, synthetic retardant solutions, etc. are suitable, regardless of whether they are oil-based or water-based, but water-soluble ones with good adhesive properties are preferred from the viewpoint of on-site applicability. A rubberized asphalt emulsion is used.

As termite control agents, those with excellent safety are selected from among the insecticides currently on the market, and among them, a combination of one or two organophosphorus insecticides is best, especially chlorpyrifos, phoxim, A compound mixed with fenitrothion is preferable from the viewpoint of compatibility with the liquid hardening type chemical solution and sustainability of efficacy. In addition, in this example, a method of applying it around the fabric foundation on the surface of the subfloor soil was explained. Alternatively, a conventional synthetic resin sheet mixed with an anti-termiticide can be spread over the entire surface of the sub-soil surface, and only the troublesome areas around the fabric foundation can be treated. , the method of the present invention may be carried out on this sheet.

In any case, termites nest underground and have the habit of creating an ant trail on the foundation and moving upwards, so if the above-mentioned treatment near the foundation is completed, they will no longer be able to crawl from the side of the foundation. As a result of experiments, it was found that the wooden base 4 on top of the termites could be completely protected from damage caused by termites because they could not climb upwards.

Furthermore, although this invention was researched to prevent termites from creating ant trails, it has also been found to have repellency and preventive effects against other pests that enter buildings, such as centipedes. .
