Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent termite-proof chemicals from flowing out and facilitate the execution of work by sealing a space between a sheet and a continuous footing, after the termite-proof sheet of a dimension with every folded section is spread over the whole surface gradually from one side corner, on the surface of soil under a floor inside the continuous footing. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin sheets 1 with included termite-proof chemicals are previously jointed to each other in a dimension with every room section. After that, the sheets 1 are folded in a specified dimension and are brought in site, and are set on the surface of soil under the floor of one side corner section 3 inside a continuous footing 2. Then, the sheets are spread on the sides of corners 4, 5, 6, and are laid on the whole surface and after that, the end sections of the sheets 1 and the side surfaces of the continuous footing 2 are sealed 7. As a result, an upper wooden base can be perfectly protected from the eating harm of termites, and the termite-proof chemicals can be prevented from flowing out.

[Detailed description of the invention] (Industrial field of application) The present invention covers the subfloor soil surface surrounded by a cloth foundation with a sheet,
The present invention also relates to an improved termite-proof construction method that seals the edges of the sheet and the sides of the fabric foundation to prevent termites from rising from the soil, thereby protecting wooden buildings from termite damage.

Traditionally, as a method of protecting wooden buildings from termite damage, powders or emulsions containing chlordane as the main ingredient are mixed or sprayed into the soil on the premises, thereby eradicating termites nesting underground or preventing future termite damage. Methods are being used to make them uninhabitable.

However, as reported in the Unagichika Shimbun,
Chlordane, which has been used until now, is an organic chlorine insecticide that does not decompose for a long period of time and has a large persistence, so the more it is widely used as termite control, the more harmful it becomes. For example, there is a growing possibility that they will penetrate deep into the ground and cause contamination of groundwater and rivers, as well as other pollution, and administrative restrictions on their use have become necessary.

Therefore, in order to meet this demand, a construction method has recently been developed in which the above-mentioned anti-whitening agent is kneaded into synthetic resin to create a sheet and the sheet is laid on the soil surface under the floor. That problem has been overcome.

However, even with this sheet laying method, when laying the sheet, the soil surface itself under the floor is not flat but uneven, so the sheet is spread out and laid while being joined to the size of the inner room section surrounded by the cloth foundation. It's not easy,
Furthermore, due to the unevenness of the surface of the subfloor soil, it is difficult to completely seal the joints, and the work may be performed with gaps left behind, resulting in problems in workability.

In view of these circumstances, the present invention is designed to prevent insecticidal insects from flowing out, to enable uniform and complete anti-termite treatment, to facilitate construction, and to ensure complete sealing. In an anti-termite method that protects a wooden building from termite damage by laying a synthetic resin sheet mixed with an anti-termite agent on the subfloor soil surface, the sheet is pre-formed to the thickness of each room section of the building. The sheet is folded and placed on the subfloor soil surface inside one of the fabric foundation corners surrounded by the fabric foundation, and then the sheet is spread to the other fabric foundation corner side and placed on the subfloor soil surface. To provide a termite prevention construction method, which is characterized in that the sheet is laid over the entire sheet, and then the ends of the sheet and the side surfaces of the cloth foundation are sealed.

A detailed description will be given below based on the embodiment shown in the drawings. Synthetic resin sheets kneaded with an anti-termite agent are joined by welding or gluing, and the size of each room section is set in advance, e.g.
A sheet (1) is formed by folding it into a predetermined size, and is made into a cloth foundation (2).
), and then spread the sheet (1) to the other cloth foundation corners (4), (5), and (6). and lay it over the entire sub-soil surface. Note that when laying the sheet, the end of the sheet does not necessarily have to be in contact with the side surface of the cloth foundation.

Finally, seal (η) the end of the sheet (1) and the side of the cloth foundation (2).Actually, the size of the sheet should be slightly smaller than the area of the subfloor soil surface surrounded by the cloth foundation. Workability when spreading over the entire sub-soil surface is good (later, the gap between the cloth foundation and the sheet is filled and sealed by applying or spraying a hardening liquid chemical solution mixed with an anti-termite agent).

Also, although workability is poor, if the size of the sheet is larger than the area of the subfloor soil surface, the end of the sheet will stand up and overlap the side of the fabric foundation, so this part should be glued. May be sealed.

In any case, termites nest underground and have the habit of creating an ant trail on the foundation and moving upwards, so if the above-mentioned treatment near the foundation is completed, they will no longer be able to crawl from the side of the foundation. As a result of experiments, it was found that the wood base (8) above the termites could not be crawled upwards and could be completely protected from termite damage.

Furthermore, although the present invention was researched to prevent termites from creating ant trails, it is also effective in preventing other pests such as centipedes from entering buildings.

As explained above, the anti-termite construction method of the present invention has the advantage that it not only prevents the spread of anti-termite chemicals, but also allows uniform and complete anti-termite treatment work to be performed extremely easily. Moreover,
Since a folded sheet of the size of each room section is used, which is surrounded by a cloth foundation in advance, there is no need for on-site joining work, making it easy to work with, and provides a complete seal even if the soil beneath the floor is uneven. It is promising and has a great anti-termite effect.
