Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation of a moisture resistant film and to always maintain a space under floor in a dry condition, by a method wherein, after resin is spread over the lower end of a rise of a strip footing or a footing of floor post and a portion therearound, a moisture resistant film is forced into firm adhesion to soil under the floor to secure it thereto. CONSTITUTION:After resin or asphalt and mixture (resin) 4 of them is spread over the lower end of the rise of a strip footing 1 or a footing of floor post, a moisture resistant film 3 is laid in a manner that it approaches the bottom edge of the strip footing 1 or the footing of floor post to force it into firm adhesion to soil for fastening. Isoprene rubber is dissolved in an organic solvent to use it as the spread resin and the like 4, and polyethylene is used as the moisture resistant film 3. An ant resistant agent or an antiseptic solution is previously mixed in the resin, and this causes application of ant resistant treatment or antiseptic treatment simultaneously with execution of a moisture resistant work. As noted above, the moisture resistant film 3 is forced into firm adhesion to the resin 4 and soil under the floor for fastening, resulting in the possibility to prevent exfoliation of the moisture resistant film 3.

In general, the area under the floor of a building receives almost no sunlight, is humid, and is warmer than the outside world in winter, so the building's foundation and flooring materials such as joists, floorboards, floorboards, and flooring are susceptible to rotting fungi, termites, etc. Easy to suffer damage. In particular, in cases where ventilation and layout under the floor are poor, or where the floor is low, such damage is even more severe, resulting in a serious problem of extremely shortening the lifespan of the building.

In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to keep the underfloor dry at all times by blocking moisture from the soil under the floor as much as possible. From this point of view, the following three types of methods are known as methods for constructing moisture proofing under floors of buildings.

In other words, 1) a method of pouring concrete of an appropriate thickness over the entire surface of the subfloor, 2) a method of laying a moisture-proof film of an appropriate thickness over the entire surface of the subfloor with a sufficient width, and then laying the overlapping part, the cloth foundation and A method of pressing down the moisture-proof film by placing dry sand or gravel around the interface with the pile stones, 3) After spreading the moisture-proof film over the entire surface of the subfloor in the same manner as in 2), place the overlapping part, the cloth foundation, and the pile stones. This is a method of pasting the boundary surface with adhesive tape.

Among these methods, method (①) requires concrete to be poured to a considerable thickness because the concrete itself has lower moisture resistance than moisture-proof films such as polyethylene film or vinyl chloride film. No further work can be started for four to five days until the concrete has hardened. Furthermore, in the case of concrete, cracks occur in most cases due to drying at the interface between the cloth foundation and the bundled stones, so there is the disadvantage that sufficient moisture-proofing effects cannot be obtained over a long period of time.
In addition, in order to suppress the deterioration of the moisture-proofing effect due to cracks, additional moisture-proofing measures are not taken around the cloth foundation and the bundled stones, which increases the construction cost. In addition, with method 2), the sand and gravel placed as a retainer are likely to be blown away by the wind blowing into the subfloor from the ventilation openings, creating gaps between the cloth foundation or pile stones and the moisture-proof film, making it difficult to obtain a sufficient moisture-proofing effect. do not have.

Furthermore, when assembling the floor after laying the film, the film is often damaged or peeled off, making it difficult to say that this is a desirable moisture-proof construction method. Furthermore, when a forced ventilation system was installed under the floor, the moisture-proof film sometimes peeled off. Although method 3) provides a more sufficient moisture-proofing effect than the three methods mentioned above, it requires much time and effort to install, is expensive, and requires adhesive tape to be bonded to the fabric foundation or pile stones. There are drawbacks, such as the need to apply a primer to the foundation or stone pile in advance in order to achieve sufficient results.

The present invention was made in view of the shortcomings of the conventional moisture-proof construction method under the floor of a building, and provides a moisture-proof construction method for the under floor that is more complete and has excellent long-term durability than the conventional method. To provide a moisture-proof construction method with good workability and low construction cost, and further to provide a moisture-proof construction method that can carry out antiseptic treatment and anti-termite treatment of various flooring materials at the same time as moisture-proof construction.

Examples of the resins (including rubbers, the same applies hereinafter) to be sprayed include isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile rubber, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid polymers, etc., in an appropriate organic solvent. It can be used after being melted, or it can be used as an emulsion in combination with a surfactant. In addition, as the asphalt, for example, blown asphalt, strain asphalt, etc. can be used by heating and melting, or can be used in combination with a surfactant as an aqueous emulsion (including a suspension of a dispersant type). . Further, these resins or asphalts can be used alone or in combination as a rubber-mixed asphalt emulsion or the like. However, it is desirable to use these resins or asphalts in the form of an emulsion from the viewpoint of workability, safety, permeability into the soil, etc. during construction. When the permeability into the soil is good, the adhesion retention of the moisture-proof film to the soil can be improved.

The method of moisture-proofing under the floor by using resin, etc. is to lay a moisture-proof film made of polyethylene, vinyl chloride, etc. on the soil under the floor, overlapping the edges of the film, and before overlapping the moisture-proof film. Moisture-proof film ltt! 5. After spraying resin etc. on the edges and the soil, the moisture-proof film is layered one after another and this is repeated to cover the area. After the edges of the moisture-proof film are layered and spread, the overlapping area and the lower end of the rising edge of the cloth foundation or bundled stones are covered. The moisture-proof film can be fixed to the subfloor soil using an appropriate method, such as a method of spraying a resin or the like on the surrounding soil, or a method of spreading a resin or the like over the entire surface of the subfloor soil and then laying a moisture-proof film.

Example 3 A chlorinated rubber emulsion adjusted to a solid content of 40% was sprayed at a rate of 21/m on the lower end of the rising edge of the cloth foundation and pile stones and the surrounding soil (width of about 20c+n) in the same manner as shown in Figure 2. Further, the same chlorinated rubber emulsion was also sprayed on the overlapped edges of the laid sheet to complete the installation.

From the results of the above examples, the underfloor moisture-proof construction method according to the present invention has much better workability than conventional construction methods, and the adhesion of the moisture-proof film to the subfloor soil is also extremely good. It was found that a sufficient moisture-proofing effect can be obtained even when the sub-floor ground surface is extremely uneven. In addition, since resin or asphalt has excellent affinity with the soil and is itself highly waterproof, it is possible to maintain sufficient moisture resistance under the floor even if there is no strict overlapping area when installing the moisture-proof film. can. Therefore, the moisture-proof film will not peel off easily even if wind, rainwater, etc. enter through the ventilation opening, and the moisture-proof film will not shift even if you walk on the moisture-proof film for floor construction after moisture-proof construction. It does not peel and has the remarkable effect of keeping the underfloor dry at all times and preventing rot and insect damage to the floor assembly materials. Furthermore, by adding termiticides and/or preservatives to the resin, asphalt, or a mixture thereof in advance, there is an advantage that it is possible to provide antitermite and/or antiseptic effects to the flooring materials at the same time as performing moisture-proof construction under the floor. .
