を変えて多種類のものを揃える必要があり、部品
点数の増加につながり、部品共通化の要請に反す
るものであつた。また時計機械体から突出する軸
を常時回転させないように、機械体内に連断機構
を設けているが、機械体が複雑となるのを避ける
ために、連断機構を内蔵させないと、外部に突出
しているつまみが常時軸に連動して回転してしま
い、負荷の点からも、人手に触れる点からも好ま
しいものではなかつた。さらに後枠とつまみとの
接触を防ぐために、つまみの突出する穴径を大き
く開口していたのでほこりが入りやすいばかりで
なく、軸が長い場合には強度的な問題があるなど
の多くの不都合があつた。
