本発明は、マイクロ波用電子回路、さらに詳細には、発

で周波数変調ノイズが少ない電圧制御発振器(VCO)
に関するものである。

B c /Hzであると推定される。推定値となって
いるのは、搬送波の周波数から100kHz離れた周波
数ではFMノイズか弱すぎてスペクトルアナライザのF
Mノイズにマスクされてしまうからである。

ついて説明したが、この電圧制御発振器は、周波数によ
っては電界効果トランジスタの代わりにバイポーラトラ
ンジスタをそのまま用いることのできる構造である。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 (1)並列に動作する2個のトランジスタを備え、各ト
ランジスタの接続端子の一方(ソースまたはドレイン)
に集められる電流は位相を互いに逆相にして、基本周波
数の近傍の周波数変調ノイズを低減させる周波数逓倍型
電圧制御発振器であって、上記2個のトランジスタの両
ゲートに対して単一の回路を備え、該単一の回路は、上
記トランジスタのゲートに接続端子がそれぞれ接続され
たバラクタにより構成されていることを特徴とする発振
器。 (2)上記バラクタの各接続端子と上記2個のトランジ
スタの各ゲート間にそれぞれキャパシタが接続されて、
該ゲートが直流電流に対してデカップルされていること
を特徴とする特許請求の範囲第(3)2個の端子に印加
された外部電圧により上記バラクタは直流逆バイアスと
なっており、バイアス用該外部電圧は、キャパシタによ
り上記2個のトランジスタの各ゲートに対してデカップ
ルされていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第2項に
記載の発振器。 (4)エネルギがインダクタを介して上記2個のトラン
ジスタのそれぞれのドレインに集められ、該2個のトラ
ンジスタそれぞれのドレイン電流が加算されて負荷に供
給されることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項に記載
の発振器。 (5)上記2個のトランジスタのソース回路に接続され
た第2と第3のバラクタをさらに備え、第2と第3のバ
ラクタのおのおのは、インダクタとトランジスタのゲー
ト回路デカップル用キャパシタとの間に接続されている
ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の発振器
。 (6)第2と第3のバラクタは、該バラクタと上記デカ
ップル用キャパシタとに共通する端子とグラウンドとの
間に外部電圧が印加されて直流逆バイアスとなっている
ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第5項に記載の発振器
。
