材と前記車体側ブラケツトとの仮結合が解除され
て衝撃力が吸収される衝撃吸収ステアリング装置
であつて、前記可動部材と前記車体側ブラケツト
との仮結合部に破断されて離脱する破断部が設け
られ、前記可動部材を介して伝わる衝撃力による
モーメントが前記破断部に対してこれを含む平面
にほぼ垂直または傾斜角度を有した方向に作用し
て、前記破断部が剪断されるようにしたことを特
