Claims (1)
ンジン本体の側壁に、該エンジン本体の各排気通
口に重合連通可能な複数の排気通路を備えた排気
マニホールドを、上記エンジン本体側壁の各排気
通口と上記排気マニホールドの各排気通路とを相
互に重合連通させた状態で衝合させるとともに、
該エンジン本体側壁の各排気通口の中心部を上記
排気マニホールドの短軸方向に挟んで該各排気通
口ごとにその両側にそれぞれ1個づつ設けたマニ
ホールド取付穴と、上記排気マニホールドの各排
気通路部分にマニホールド取付穴と重合連通可能
なる如く該各排気通路ごとにそれぞれ2個づつ設
けたボルト挿通孔とを相互に重合させた状態で両
者間に跨つて取付けられる複数の取付ボルトによ
り上記排気マニホールドを上記エンジン本体側壁
に締着固定するようにしたエンジンにおいて、上
記排気マニホールドの各ボルト取付孔のうち、少
なくとも該排気マニホールドの長軸方向の端部に
位置する排気通路に対応する一対のボルト取付孔
を、少なくともその一方において、該一対のボル
ト取付孔の中心を結ぶ直線の方向に延びる長穴と
したことを特徴とする多気筒エンジンの排気マニ
