Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the dust pollution caused by spikes by composing the contained spike in such a way that it is pulled inside or projected out depending on the condition. CONSTITUTION:A holder which holds a spike 4 within a tire, is composed of a movable section 3 which is made of a metal having a high thermal expansion coefficient, and the movable metal section 3 is heated up and expands due to heat generated while a car is running. Thus, this configuration enables the spike, which comes in contact with the surface of a road before the car starts, to be pulled inside the tire acting as a normal tire when the car is running. And as the tire is cooled while being on a snowy road and the like, the spike is projected out functioning as a spike tire. Accordingly, this configuration is capable of reducing the dust pollution caused by the spike.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a movable tire spike. Conventional spiked tires have fixed spikes and have excellent braking performance when driving on frozen or snow-covered roads, but on roads without ice, asphalt dust pollution has become a social issue. Therefore, in the present invention, it is possible to use spiked tires on frozen and snowy roads, and normal tires on non-frozen roads, eliminating the trouble of changing tires and attaching and detaching tire chains, and also solving such asphalt dust pollution at once. It is something to do. This uses thermal expansion to raise and lower the spikes. Before driving, the spikes are in contact with the road surface, but as the tire heats up while driving, the metal with a high coefficient of thermal expansion that supports the spikes expands. The spikes are pulled away from the road surface and become normal tires. In addition, on snowy or frozen roads, the expanded metal returns to its original state and provides stable driving performance as a spiked tire.
