向電極のリード端子が表示側の矩形基板に接続さ
れたエレクトロクロミツク表示素子において、上
記対向極側のリード端子は少なくとも上記表示側
矩形基板の幅方向両縁部に上記各表示単位に対応
して設定されていることを特徴とするエレクトロ
