表示極を有し、対向側の矩形基板の内面に対向電
極と対極物質層とからなる対向極を有し、これら
両極間に電解液が介在され、上記表示電極の各セ
グメントに対応して矩形基板の長手方向に沿つて
配列された多数のリード端子が表示側の矩形基板
の幅方向両縁部に接続され、上記対向極側のリー
ド端子は少なくとも表示側の矩形基板の長手方向
両側部間に配されるとともに、該基板幅方向の少
なくともいずれか一方の縁部に固定されて導電材
で対向電極側に接続されたエレクトロクロミツク
表示素子であつて、上記対向電極側のリード端子
に隣接する少なくとも1つの表示極側リード端子
をブランク端子として設定したことを特徴とする
