Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は、プラント配管分野や高温水を利用する温泉分
野に利用されるFRP管とFRP継手との接続方法に関
し、更に詳細には接着剤としてガラスフレークを混合し
た熱硬化性樹脂を使用し。
耐蝕性を向上させて高温水や酸φアルカリ溶液の輸送を
可能にしたFRP管とFRP継手との接続方法に関する
(従来の技術) 従来、プラント配管には適当な接着剤がなくて、FRP
管を使用できず金属管を使用していた。
(本発明が解決しようとする問題点) しかしながら、この従来の金属管による配管方法では、
接続に手間を要し、素材も重いため取扱いに<<、まし
て耐蝕性を持続させるためには。
高品位の金属管を必要とするため価格も高くなっていた
又、FRP管を利用する場合は、継手とFRP管との接
続に使用する接着剤が酸・アルカリ若しくはこれらの混
合液に侵されやすく耐久性を長期に互って持続できない
ため接着剤による接続方法は皆無であって実用化に到達
していなかった。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 本発明は、かかる従来の問題点を解決せんとなされたも
のであり、その目的とするところは1.耐蝕性の優れた
接着剤を使用してFRP管と継手とを接続することにあ
り、この目的達成のための技術的1手段として本発明で
は、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂若しくはビニルエステル樹
脂に所要簾のガラスフレークを混合した接着剤を使用し
FRPvと継手とをtli着剤にて接着固定する方法を
採用することとした。
(実施例) 以下1本発明方法を実施例に基き説明する。
本発明では、酸−アルカリ溶液に対して優れた防食効果
を示す接1剤にてFET管と継手とを接着固定すると共
にFET管の管端面をこの接着剤にて完全に被覆して腐
蝕性液体が管端面より浸透しないようにシールするもの
である。
接着剤としては、ガラスフレークと熱硬化性樹脂とを混
合して防食性に秀れ、常温硬化性のものである。ここで
使用される熱硬化性樹脂は、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂と
ビニルエステル樹脂であり、これらの樹脂にガラスフレ
ークを20〜40!l量%混合する。この接着剤は水蒸
気透湿防止性並びに耐薬品性が秀れており、この接着剤
を使用することによって薬液バリヤー性(透過性のない
こと)が向上し、膨張係数の低減及び面方向での硬化収
11il率の低減等による密着性の向上、それに剥離防
止効果等の優れた特性を示すことができた。
尚、上記したガラスフレークは、厚さ2〜3鉢長さ50
〜3000pの鱗片状の極薄フレークであり、要求物性
や塗布方法に応じてフレークの大きさを選択し目的の配
合にする。塗Jした塗膜中でのガラスフレークは、第1
図に示すように、層を形成しており(1000−150
0終塗膜中に100〜150枚程度の層)透過物質Mで
ある液体が仮想線に示したようにガラスフレークGを迂
回しながら塗膜中を透過するため、その透過速度を極端
に低減させバリヤー性を向上させるものである。尚、こ
の時の透湿量は塗膜の厚さの逆数に比例する。
上述の接着剤を使用してFRP管lとFRP継手2とを
接続する手順を説明する。
まず、FRP’l?1の管端面を所要角度に面取し、こ
の面取部3に所+W量の接着剤4を塗布した後、FRP
継手2の受口5に挿入する0面取部3に塗布された接着
剤4はFRP継手2の受口内壁と面取部3との間にてn
く引きのばされながらその一部はFRP管1の面泡部3
を〒い他の一部は継手2の受口内壁に圧着されるため、
FRP管lの管端面を完全にシールし、同時にFRP’
ll’lとFRP継手2とを接着固定する。
このようにしてFRP管lとFRPJli手2とを接着
剤4にて固着すれば、醜やアルカリ等の腐蝕性溶液をこ
の接続部内に流しても接着剤4でもって、これらの溶液
の透過を防止できるため従前のようにFRP管部からの
腐蝕性溶液のにじみ出を完全に無くすることができた。
尚1本発明方法は、FET管の種類に制限することなし
に1例えば、ガラス繊維と熱硬化性樹脂とよりなる強化
プラスチック素材にて管lを構成したり、強化プラスチ
ックの上下に熱可塑性樹脂をIAMI、て3M構造に形
成したもの、又は1強化プラスチックの内側に熱可塑性
樹脂を8層M!シたもの若しくは引!に成型で2層、3
Mj、4層と多層に成型した管状体にも適用できるもの
である。
上述のように、本発明によれば、バリヤー性を向とさせ
て醜拳アルカリ溶液が管端面より侵透しないようにし、
同時にFET管と継手とを接着剤にて固着できるため、
高温水を使用する温泉分野や酸eアルカリ溶液を輸送す
るプラント工業分野のFET管の接着方法として採用さ
れ作業性の向上と施工コストの低減等に大いに貢献する
ものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1)不飽和ポリエステル樹脂若しくはビニルエステル樹
    脂にガラスフレークを混合した接着剤をFRP管の管端
    面取部に塗布した後、FRP継手の受口に挿入し、上記
    接着剤にて管端面を被覆すると共にFRP管とFRP継
    手とを接着固定することを特徴とするFRP管とFRP
    継手との接続方法。
