Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a flame color due to a flame reaction for a decorative intentions by the mixing of a metallic pulverized powder causing a flame reaction as a mist in a fuel gas on the midway of a gas supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:A metallic pulverized powder or a chemical compound thereof is mixed as a mist in a fuel gas being supplied to a burner 1 under a pressure decreased. The mist 3 of the metallic pulverized powder is formed as the mist with mixing the metallic pulverized powder and water by a spray nozzle 8, and being blown in a gas supply pipe 2 through a mist blown in a pipe 9. A flame 5 formed at a flame opening 4 emit a special color corresponding to the mixed metal owing to a flame reaction of the metal mixed in a fuel gas when the fuel gas is ignited. These pattern may be represented colorfully with the flame by forming the burner 1 so that the flame formed at the flame opening 4 can represent a desired patern.

Furthermore, even if the flame color produced by this flame reaction is used for decorative purposes, the conventional flame color test usually involves attaching a part of the sample solution or silica precipitate to a clean platinum wire attached to the tip of a glass rod. Since the method involves placing the flame in a flame and observing the color of the flame, it is not possible to color the entire value and it is also difficult to continuously color the flame. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the method of coloring flames in this manner as a method of coloring flames for decorative purposes.

(Means for Solving the Problem) The technical means taken by the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problem is to contain metals or compounds in the fuel gas in the middle of the gas supply pipe from the gas supply source to the burner. Fine powder droplets are mixed in the form of a mist to cause a flame color reaction of the above-mentioned metal in the flame generated at the flame opening of the burner.

The metal fine powder flow is mixed in the form of a mist in the fuel gas supplied to the burner (1), and when ignited, the flame (5) formed at the flame opening (4) is mixed in the fuel gas. Due to the flame color reaction of the metal mixed in, it emits a unique color depending on the metal mixed in.

That is, by using the present invention, the flame formed at the flame opening (4) can be used to create a desired pattern, for example, as shown in FIG. By forming the burner (1) in such a way that it can emit light, it is possible to express the patterns of colors in the flame, like a neon sign. By switching the type of metal fine powder mixed into the mist using an appropriate switching device, it is also possible to continuously change the color of the pattern formed by the flame.

Furthermore, it is not impossible to mix two or more kinds of metal fine powder streams into the fuel gas at the same time. (Effects) As described above, the present invention mixes a fine powder flow of an elemental metal or a compound in the form of a mist into the fuel gas in the middle of the gas supply pipe line leading from the gas supply source to the burner, thereby increasing the temperature of the burner. Since the flame generated at the flame opening causes a flame color reaction of the metal mentioned above, the entire flame can be colored.
