Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the noise at the time of smoke ventilation and to increase the amount of removable oily substance inside the smoke ventilation unit by constructing baffles on the unit inner wall with a chemicals-resistant, sound- absorbing porous material. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of a smoke ventilation unit 7 has on it a multiple number of baffles 13, 14, 15 and multiple rows of cleaner nozzles 16, 17 clean said baffles and the inner wall of the smoke ventilation unit 7 and a ventilation fan 11.
