受けるカムシヤフトの回転で該カムシヤフトに設
けた吸気カム、排気カムによりタペツトを動作し
て燃焼室に対する吸気弁、排気弁の開閉を行わせ
るものにおいて、前記カムギヤ端面にカムシヤフ
トの軸芯に沿つた圧縮行程側および爆発行程側ピ
ン孔を形成し、前記ピン孔にそれぞれ片側にフラ
イウエイトを設けた圧縮行程側および爆発行程側
リリースレバーを回動自在に嵌挿するとともに、
前記反フライウエイト側の圧縮行程側および爆発
行程側リリースレバー端部を吸気カム側または排
気カム側あるいは吸気カムおよび排気カム側に延
出し、前記圧縮行程側および爆発行程側リリース
レバー端部のそれぞれのタペツト端部に対峙する
部分に切欠部を設けて、該圧縮行程側および爆発
行程側リリースレバーの回動により吸気カム面ま
たは排気カム面、あるいは吸気カム面および排気
カム面から突没するようにし、前記各リリースレ
バー端部の前記カム面からの突出により燃焼室を
半圧縮状態にし、没入により全圧縮状態になるよ
