Conventionally, this type of combustion wick has a cylindrical shape with a heat-resistant part and a non-heat-resistant part connected above and below, and the non-heat-resistant part is made of natural fibers such as cotton or sufu and has the function of absorbing and storing kerosene. On the other hand, it is well known that the heat-resistant portion is made of heat-resistant fibers such as glass or carbon to contribute to a longer life during combustion. However, in this conventional example,
As shown in FIG. 4, the warp threads 2 of the heat-resistant part 1 are
Carbon, tar, etc. are formed at the tip of the wick during combustion.
As a result, the combustion end 4 is solidified into a flower shape, making it impossible to move the heat-resistant part 1 up and down inside the wick holder 5, creating an enormous risk of fire, and making it difficult to re-ignite. It also has various problems, such as it takes time to heat up the fire and generates a bad odor when burned. The reason for this is that in the conventional example, the heat-resistant part 1 itself supplies an excessive amount of kerosene to the combustion end 4, so it is not completely combusted, and the fibers at the combustion end 4 are too dense, which requires air such as oxygen for combustion. Particularly when left kerosene or different types of kerosene are used, carbon, tar, etc. are likely to be generated, and this will adhere to the combustion end 4 where the fibers are scattered. It's about putting it away.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a wick for combustion appliances that solves the above-mentioned problems in one go. Therefore, the main feature of the present invention is to provide a wick for combustion appliances that is made up of a cylindrical wick that is made up of a heat-resistant part and a non-heat-resistant part that are connected vertically. In the wick for a combustion appliance of the above-mentioned type, the heat-resistant portion is constructed by forming the first yarn and the second yarn as warp yarns, and knitting the first yarn and the second yarn with weft yarns. In the upper burning part of this heat-resistant part, the second yarn is almost inverted at the top of the uppermost weft yarn.
The first thread is bent and folded back in a character shape and has a folded part, and the first yarn has combustion ends that protrude upwardly from the folded part and are scattered without being folded back.

The combustion wick according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in the first diagram, the wick 6 is cylindrical and has a heat-resistant part 7 and a non-heat-resistant part 8 connected vertically. It is said that The heat-resistant section 7 has warp yarns made of glass fiber or fibers with excellent heat resistance such as glass fibers connected by weft yarns made of appropriate fibers. In addition, the non-heat resistant part 8 has warp yarns made of fibers with excellent oil absorption such as cotton or cotton cloth connected by weft yarns made of appropriate fibers, and the non-heat resistant part 8 and the heat resistant part 7 and are properly joined and fixed by threads so that the warp threads are continuous with each other.

In the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3,
The warp yarn 9 of the heat-resistant part 7 is the first yarn 10 and the second yarn 1
1, both yarns 10 and 11 are russel-knitted by a russel-knitting machine, and knitted in a chain stitch using weft yarns 12. Both threads 10 and 11 are made by bundling thin threads in a uniform manner, and it is free to decide whether the thin threads are single threads or double threads. The warp thread 9 bent and folded back at the upper end of the heat-resistant part 7 has a first thread 10 on the outer periphery of the upper end bent part and a second thread 10 on the inner periphery.
The yarn 11 is positioned. Both threads 10,1
1, the swing width of the yarn of the ratchet knitting machine can be made different from each other, and the height of the combustion end 13, which will be described later, can be arbitrarily set. If the warp yarns 9 of the heat-resistant section 7 knitted in this manner are cut along the chain line A in FIG. 2 so as to separate only the first yarns 10 from each other at their tips, the third As shown in the figure, at the upper end of the heat-resistant section 7, the second thread 11 has a folded part 14 which is bent and folded back in a substantially inverted U-shape above the uppermost weft thread 12, while the first thread 10 is provided with a combustion end 13 that protrudes above the folded part 14 and has thin threads scattered without being folded back, and a combustion part 15 is provided in an area from the upper end of this folded part 14 to the tip of the combustion end 13. It is formed. Note that the non-heat resistant part 8 is
As shown in the figure, the warp threads 18 constituting the plurality of threads 16 and 17 are similarly knitted in a latssel stitch, and are knitted in a chain stitch with the weft threads 19, and are continuously connected to the heat-resistant part 7 via the connecting threads 20. However, the structure and knitting type of the warp threads 18 are not limited to this.

As a result of the present invention configured as described above, the kerosene sucked up from the non-heat resistant part 8 is transferred to the heat resistant part 7 by the warp thread 9 composed of the first thread 10 and the second thread 11. The combustion end 13 of the first yarn 10 is suitably sucked up and supplied to the combustion section 15, and the combustion end 13 of the first yarn 10 is the main core and the second
The folded portion 14 of the yarn 11 functions as an auxiliary core.
Therefore, in the combustion section 15, the first yarn 1 is mainly
Although combustion is carried out at the combustion end 13 of the core body 6, a large amount of carbon, tar, etc. does not adhere to the combustion end 13 as in the conventional case, and therefore the core holder of the core body 6 does not solidify into a flower shape. 21 is always smoothly raised and lowered, and the lead holder 2
1, the safety is greatly improved by extinguishing the fire by lowering the combustion section 15 reliably. The reason for this is that since the fine threads of the combustion end 13 are distributed only by the first threads 10, excessive kerosene is not supplied to the combustion end 13, and moreover, there is enough kerosene between the fibers of the combustion end 13. This is based on the fact that a sufficient amount of air is supplied and a suitable complete combustion can be achieved, so that the amount of carbon, tar, etc. generated is minimal compared to the conventional method. Furthermore, if left kerosene or a different type of kerosene is used, for example, it is unavoidable that carbon etc. will be generated from the combustion part 15, but in this case too, carbon etc. will be generated from the folded part 14 of the second thread 11 as an auxiliary core. Since the kerosene that is evaporated and released is added to the combustion in the combustion section 15, carbon, etc. generated at the combustion end 13 undergoes the so-called dry burning phenomenon above the folded section 14 and is automatically incinerated. Even if there is carbon or tar that cannot be incinerated, the second thread 1
This is based on the fact that tar, etc. attached to the folded part 14 of the first yarn 10 is not attached to make the burning end 13 of the first yarn 10 into a flowering shape. It adheres only to the surface of the folded part 14 restrained by the folded part 12, and does not increase the thickness of the folded part 14 itself by penetrating into the inside of the folded part 14 and adhering thereto. Therefore, the smooth movement of the core body 6 into the core holder 21 significantly contributes to fire extinguishing safety.
For the same reason, it is excellent in re-ignition and fire circulation in the combustion section 15, and is advantageous in preventing the occurrence of bad odors due to complete combustion.
