Cores for combustion appliances such as kerosene stoves and oil stoves generally have a fuel suction part made of woven fabric or nonwoven fabric such as cotton, rayon, or synthetic fiber, and a heat-resistant fiber such as glass fiber, flame-resistant fiber, or ceramic fiber at the upper end. It has a structure in which heat-resistant combustion parts made of woven fabric are connected. This heat-resistant combustion section is composed of a plurality of heat-resistant fiber knitted and woven fabrics with a core made of hard-finished cotton cloth, glass fiber non-woven fabric, etc. interposed in the middle for reinforcement, and whose tips are at the same height. The tip of the core is usually formed to be slightly shorter than the heat-resistant textile fabric.

The heat-resistant combustion part of such conventional wicks for combustion appliances does not cause many problems when burning with normal kerosene, but when burning with degraded kerosene or heavy kerosene containing light oil, etc. Tar-like substances tend to accumulate near the tip, resulting in lower combustibility, shortening the useful life of the wick, and making it difficult to slide the wick up and down.

Various attempts have been made in the art to solve these problems.
For example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-16815, there is a method of attaching a tar suppression catalyst to the tip of a heat-resistant combustion section, and as disclosed in Utility Model Publication No. 56-20646, a method of attaching a tar suppression catalyst to the tip of a heat-resistant combustion section is disclosed. A method of attaching a coating to prevent tar adhesion, such as a metal plate or a mica plate, so as to leave some of the tip of the
A method has been proposed, such as No. 78209, in which the tip of the reinforcing material (core) is positioned below the fire pan of the appliance during combustion.

In addition, there is a combustion wick in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-11101, in which the heat-resistant combustion part is formed by overlapping a main core and an auxiliary wick inside and outside the reinforcing wick, and the tip of the inner main wick protrudes from the auxiliary wick. This is proposed in Publication No. 50-42433. Further, on the second half of page 1 of this publication, a conventional technique is shown in which ``a thin auxiliary fire core is used and the structure is such that it protrudes beyond the main core.''

However, these methods do not provide sufficient tar-like substance accumulation prevention effects. In particular, the method described in JP-A No. 50-42433 is such that the protrusion of the main core located inside is made into an expanded state by removing the weft, and the thickness of a portion of the core is made into an expanded state. It employs a complex structure that allows for changes. In addition, this technology is similar to the combustion wick listed as a conventional example in the same publication, as the main wick and the auxiliary wick are both formed into a vertical right cylindrical shape up to the upper end, which prevents abnormal combustion due to excessive wick extension. It is easy to occur. The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned problems, and even when burned with degraded kerosene or heavy kerosene containing light oil, tar-like substances are formed near the tip of the heat-resistant combustion part. A combustion appliance that improves combustibility, extends the life of the wick, and allows the wick to easily slide up and down at all times. The main purpose is to provide sanitary pads.

The wick for a combustion appliance of the present invention is inserted into the gap between the outer core cylinder and the inner core cylinder of an oil combustion appliance formed on the top of a tank, so that the tip of the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric protrudes above the fire pan. It is used with the protruding portion curved inward.

However, during combustion, since the thickness of the centering part protruding from the fire pan is only the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric, the inside becomes sufficiently hot, which promotes combustion well and removes tar-like substances. Even if a tar-like substance were to be generated, it would not only be generated on the inner abdomen of the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric, but would not hinder combustion, and even if the core was raised too high, it would not interfere with combustion. Because it does not cause abnormal combustion, it burns safely and stably for a long time. Further, since the inclined portion is located on the heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric from the outside to the inside, it does not interfere with the vertical movement of the core.

For example, when making a core for a combustion appliance with a centering dimension of 10 mm, the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2b
The height of the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c is set to 25 mm, and the height of the inner core 2a is set to 24 mm.
The lower ends of these are aligned and sewn together to form a heat-resistant combustion part 2, which is connected to the fuel suction part 1 to constitute a wick for a combustion appliance. With this configuration, the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2b of the heat-resistant combustion section 2 is 12 mm longer than the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c, and the core 2a is longer than the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c.
It protrudes 13 mm longer than the wick, and this protruding length approximately corresponds to the centering dimension of this combustion appliance wick of 10 mm.

FIG. 3 shows a state in which the wick for a combustion appliance according to the present invention is attached to an oil combustion appliance 3 and is being burned. That is, when the wick for a combustion appliance is inserted into the gap between the wick outer cylinder 3b and the wick inner cylinder 3c which are connected to the upper part of the tank 3a, and the wick is raised by a wick up and down mechanism (not shown), this combustion occurs. The length of the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2b of the heat-resistant combustion part 2 of the instrument core is approximately the same as the length that protrudes from the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c and the center core 2a, as described above as the centering dimension during combustion. It is attached so as to protrude upward from the fire pans 3d and 3e of the oil burning appliance 3.

When combustion is performed with this oil-burning appliance 3 using the wick for a combustion appliance according to the present invention, only the heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2b on the outside of the heat-resistant combustion part 2 protrudes from the fire pans 3d and 3e. Since the thickness of the centering part (protruding part) is approximately half that of the centering part, the centering part reaches a sufficiently high temperature to the inside, and even in the case of degraded kerosene or heavy kerosene containing light oil, the evaporation residue is removed. It burns without leaving any residue, does not generate tar-like substances, and burns stably for a long period of time. Also, even if a small amount of tar-like material is formed,
As shown in the figure, this tar-like substance 4 lands on the core 2a and the upper part of the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c, so it does not interfere with combustion, and also has a negative effect on the vertical sliding of the heat-resistant combustion section 2. Never. Furthermore, since the tip (protruding part) of the heat-resistant combustion part 2 is approximately half as thick as that of the conventional one, there is also the advantage that the fire speed at the time of ignition is fast.

In addition, the heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2 outside the heat-resistant combustion section 2
Since the upper end of b is inclined inward, the tip of the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2c is covered by the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2b and comes into close contact with its abdomen. For this reason, in conventional heat-resistant combustion parts, if the centering dimension is mistakenly made longer than the normal state, the flame becomes larger, which is called abnormal combustion, which is dangerous, but with the heat-resistant combustion part of the present invention, the above reason is Inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric 2
The tip of c has the advantage that evaporation of fuel is difficult to occur, its contribution to combustion is small, and abnormal combustion does not occur.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, even if degraded kerosene or heavy kerosene containing light oil is used, tar-like substances are unlikely to be formed and stable combustion can be performed for a long period of time. Even if a small amount of tar-like material is formed, this tar-like material will adhere to the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric located below the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric and the upper end of the core, thus hindering combustion. There will be fewer things happening. Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the protrusion of the outer heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric is inclined inward, not only does it not have a negative effect on the vertical sliding of the wick for a combustion appliance, but also the inner heat-resistant fiber knitted fabric Since fuel evaporation from the cloth is suppressed, it also has the effect of increasing fire speed compared to conventional wicks for combustion appliances. Furthermore, even if the centering dimension is made longer than normal, dangerous abnormal combustion will not occur.
