Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は密閉型鉛蓄電池に関する。
従来の技術 一般に、密閉型鉛蓄電池の電槽には、ABS樹脂(アク
リロニトリル−ブタジェン−スチレンの共重合体)が使
用されている。そしてABS樹脂製の電槽からの水蒸気
透過を防ぐため、電槽外面にアルミ箔で被覆したシ金属
製容器に収納したシしている。
発明゛が解決しようとする問題点 ところが電池の陽極と陰極の端子は電槽上面に出ている
ため、金属で電槽表面を被覆することで電池の取扱い上
で非常にショートの危険性が高くなる。なぜなら、密閉
型鉛蓄電池は密閉構造であるが故に、複数個の1つの組
電池として密接して使用する場合が多く、その場合の組
み込みや交換時に隣同志の電池を接触させ易いからであ
る。一方組み込まれる装置側でも、電池外面と機器との
ショートに気を付けねばならなくなる。
本発明は上記問題点を解決することを目的とするもので
ある。
問題点を解決するだめの手段 上記の目的を達成するために、本発明は、金属で被覆し
た電槽外面を防湿性、耐ガス透過性の樹脂を塗布したプ
ラスチックフィルムで包装するようにしたものである。
作用 これにより金属で被覆された電槽外面と他部品等とのシ
ョートをなくすことができる。
実施例 本発明の一実施例を説明する。
密閉型鉛蓄電池の電槽外面をアルミ箔で接着して被覆し
た。基材としてポリプロピレンのシートを使用し、防湿
性、耐ガス透過性の樹脂例えばポリウレタン系接着剤を
塗布後、塩化ビニリデンのエマルジョンを塗布し乾燥す
ることで、包装用フィルムを製作した。
この包装用フィルムで密閉型鉛蓄電池を端子部のみ包装
用フィルムに穴を開けた状態で被覆した。
発明の効果 上述のように本発明を採用することにより、電池内部か
らの水蒸気透過を抑制できる金属による被覆に加え、防
湿性、耐ガス透過性の樹脂による被覆が行なえ、かつ取
シ扱い上のシ言−トを防止できる点、極めて工業的価値
大なるものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 陽極板、陰極板、および両極板とセパレータとに含浸さ
    れた電解液を収納した合成樹脂製の電槽で構成され、そ
    の電槽外面を金属で被覆した密閉型鉛蓄電池において、
    防湿性、耐ガス透過性の樹脂を塗布したプラスチックフ
    ィルムで包装したことを特徴とする密閉型鉛蓄電池。
