(Current technology) Most of the design twisted yarns, which consist of a core yarn, a presser yarn, and a floating yarn, use spun yarns made of wool, animal hair, acrylic fiber, hemp, cotton, etc. as floating yarns; Nylon thread is used for the thread. Usually, such designed twisted yarn is dyed and knitted using a weft knitting machine to make sweaters. In some cases, after the yarn is dyed, it is raised by a raising machine to become tam yarn (raised, so-called caterpillar yarn), which is then knitted horizontally and made into sweaters. However, in the above-mentioned process of producing the designed twisted yarn, raising the yarn, and knitting the yarn, a large tension is applied to the yarn, which often causes yarn breakage. In order to prevent this thread breakage, nylon threads are used as the core thread and presser thread as described above, or, since thin threads are not sufficient, nylon threads of 50 denier or more are usually used. On the other hand, in terms of the appearance quality of the knitted fabric, it is better for floating yarns to be exposed as much as possible on the surface, and for core yarns and presser yarns to be as inconspicuous as possible. In this respect, nylon yarns of 50 denier or more are insufficient There are many cases. There is also a problem in that when the core yarn and presser yarn are thick, the texture of the knitted fabric becomes rough and hard.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In view of the above-mentioned points, the object of the present invention is to provide a knitted fabric that can reduce yarn breakage in the raising process or knitting process, has a sufficient reinforcing effect on the product, and has an excellent appearance quality. The purpose of this invention is to provide a designed twisted yarn that can obtain the following characteristics.

That is, in a designed twisted yarn consisting of a core yarn, a presser yarn, and a floating yarn, a yarn of 3D or more and 120D or less is made from a high-strength, high-elasticity fiber having a tensile strength of at least 12Q/d and an elastic modulus of 280g/d or more. This is a designed twisted yarn characterized by using the following for the core yarn, presser yarn, or core yarn and presser yarn.

(Function) The present invention will be explained in more detail below. The designed twisted yarn in the present invention is a designed twisted yarn consisting of a core yarn, a presser yarn, and a floating yarn, and is typically produced by a designed yarn technique using a down twister, a covering machine, a ring spinning machine, etc. It is twisted yarn.

The core yarn, the presser yarn, or both are made of high-strength, high-elastic modulus fibers with a tensile strength of at least 12 g/d and an elastic modulus of 280 g/d or more.
It is necessary that the yarn be 0 denier or less. If the tensile strength is less than 12 g/d or the fineness is less than 3 denier, it is difficult to obtain the desired effect, which is not preferred. The strength (product of tensile strength and denier) of the yarn made of high-strength, high-elasticity fiber (hereinafter simply referred to as high-strength yarn) in the present invention is 30
It is preferable that it is Q or more. As the floating yarn, wool, animal hair, acrylic fiber, hemp, cotton, etc., and spun yarns made by blending these can be used, and all other yarns that can be used for conventional design twisted yarns such as tape yarn and slit yarn can be used.

In the present invention, it is necessary that the elastic modulus of the high-strength yarn is 280C1/d or more, and due to this high elastic modulus, the core yarn or presser yarn is stretched by the tension in the twisting or raising process, and the next yarn dyeing process is carried out. This can prevent the floating yarn from shrinking and deteriorating the knitting surface of the final product, such as sweaters.

In the designed twisted yarn of the present invention, the core yarn, presser yarn, or both may be yarns made of high tensile strength and high elastic modulus fibers having the above-mentioned characteristics, and are not particularly limited. Yarns made of alcohol-based fibers are preferred.

In other words, a feature of using polyvinyl alcohol-based fibers as high-strength yarns is that yarns with a lower shrinkage rate can be easily obtained compared to nylon yarns, etc., and this also makes it easier to use in the yarn dyeing process. This can improve the deterioration of the yarn surface and knitting surface due to shrinkage of the core yarn and presser yarn.

The method for producing the high-strength polyvinyl alcohol fiber used in the present invention is not particularly limited; It is industrially preferable to use a polymer obtained by a dry/wet spinning method because it is easier to produce than other gel spinning methods or liquid crystal spinning methods.

In the present invention, the denier of the high-strength yarn is 3 denier or more than 1
It is 20 denier or less. The problems with less than 3 denier are as mentioned above, but if it exceeds 120 denier, the design twisted yarn or the knitted fabric using this yarn will become coarse and hard, which is undesirable. The denier is 3
It is most desirable that the denier is 1 denier or more and 40 denier or less. Even with such a fine denier, it is strong enough to withstand knitting tension and napping tension, while also providing excellent knitted fabric appearance and soft texture that cannot be obtained with conventional methods, as well as sufficient knitting fabric. This is because a reinforcing effect can be obtained.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the strength is higher than that of the conventional designed twisted yarn using nylon yarn as the core yarn and presser yarn, and yarn breakage in the yarn raising process and knitting process is prevented. can be reduced. In particular, by using high-strength polyvinyl alcohol fibers, the core yarn and presser yarn can be made thinner, and the shrinkage of the core yarn and presser yarn can also be reduced, resulting in a uniformly puffy surface appearance when finished into sweaters, etc. An excellent knitted fabric can be obtained.
