Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はアルミラミネートフィルムのような金属箔の両
面にプラスチックフィルムを接着したフィルムを筒状に
形成して重ね合わせ溶着した筒体の端部に、プラスチッ
ク製やラミネートフィルムからなる口部や蓋などを溶着
する装置に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
例えば歯磨用のクリームなどのクリーム、軟膏状物質の
容器として第7図に示す形状の押出チューブが広く用い
られている。このチューブはプロー成形法によりポリエ
チレン、ポリプロピレン等で一体成形されている。しか
しこれらの材料はガスバリヤ−性が十分ないため封入し
たものが芳香を有するものである場合には、芳香成分が
容器を透過して消失する。また酸素が容器を透過して内
部に侵入し封入物が変質、変色するなどし長期の保存に
耐えない。このためねりわさび1ねり辛子などの容器に
は依然として金属製チューブが用いられている。金属チ
ューブの場合、気体は透過しないが繰返しの折曲げに弱
く、使用しているうちに亀裂が生じ、内容物が洩れると
いう問題がある。
以上の欠点を解消するため、最近では、数十μmの厚さ
のアルミニウムフィルムの両面に、接着性を与え、アル
ミニウム表面の保護を目的としてポリエチレンフィルム
又はポリプロピレンフィルムを貼り合わせたラミネート
フィルムを用いたチューブが開発されている。このラミ
ネートフイルムはフィルムに腰を持たせ、印刷性を付与
するため、アルミニウムフィルムの片面に紙を貼り合わ
せたものが殆んどであり、紙の表面に印刷を施した後ポ
リエチレンフィルムやポリプロピレンフィルムが貼り合
わされている。この素材は気体を透過しないと同時に繰
返しの曲げに強い。
このラミネートフィルムは、その構造上からプロー成形
法やインジェクション成形法によす直接チューブを形成
することは不可能である。
この素材を用いてチューブを製造するには大別して次の
二通りの方法がある。
第3図に示すように、ラミネートフィルム/を円筒状に
曲げ両端を重ね合わせ、重ね合わせ部を溶着して第9図
に示すように筒体コを形成し、この筒体コをインジェク
ション金型内に挿入して口部3の成形と同時に口部3と
筒体コとを一体化する。また別途成形した口部3と筒体
コとを溶着して第10図に示すように一体化する。前者
の方法では、筒体コを一つ一つ金型に挿入しなければな
らないので、人手を要し安全性に問題があり、高価なイ
ンジェクションマシンの稼動率が下がる。
後者の方法では、フィルムの筒状化と、口部の成形が別
工程で行なわれるため、それぞれの工程を最も能率的な
条件下で生産できる。しかしこの方法で問題となるのは
、別々に成形した口部3と筒体コとの溶着工程である。
これにはヒートシールによる方法と、高周波誘導加熱に
よる方法とがある。ヒートシールによる方法では、シー
ルに時間がかかること、溶着用金型の温度管理が難かし
いことなどから高速で安定した生産には不向きである。
そのため、最近では高周波誘導加熱による方法が注目さ
れている。
高周波誘導加熱による方法の原理は、第11図に示すよ
うに、筒状導体グの周囲にワークコイル5を配置し、ワ
ークコイル3に電流を通すと、第72図に示すように、
筒状導体ダには、ワークフィル5に沿って筒状導体グに
流れる電流7が生じ、その向きはワークコイルの電流の
向き6とは逆向きである。この電流は一種の短絡電流と
なりジュール熱を発生する。しかし筒状導体ダが第73
図に示すように、周方向の一部において不連続であると
、筒状導体グに流れる電流7は、第13図に示すように
なる。筒状導体亭の一端に沿って溶着を行なうためには
、筒状導体ダの一端に接近させてワークフィルを配置す
る必要があるが、筒状導体弘が第73図に示すように一
部で不連続になっていると、筒状導体ダに流れる電流7
は、不連続部分で電流密度が大きくなり温度は高くなる
が、コーナ一部gでは殆んど電流が流れず温度が上昇し
ない。第9図に示した筒体コの一端に別途成形した口部
3を高周波加熱によって溶着する場合も、加熱状況は第
73図の場合と同様となり、満足な溶着加工を行なうこ
とは出来ない。
この問題を解決するために、第1を図に示すように、口
部3の中に円板状アルミシート9を埋め込み、アルミシ
ート9の外周にワークフィルタを配置して高周波電流を
流し加熱することによって、周方向において均一な加熱
を行ない、口部3と筒体λを溶着することが行なわれて
いる。しかしこの方法では、アルミシートデを口部3に
埋め込むために、口部3の成形に当って金型内にアルミ
シートデを一つ一つ配置しなければならないので1生産
性、安全性に問題が残る。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
本発明はラミネートフィルムからなる前記の筒体コの端
部に、プラスチック成形品である前記の口部3のような
部分品を溶着するに当り、口部3内にアルミシートtの
ような金属を埋め込むことなく、口部3を筒体λの端部
に均一に溶着できる装置を提供せんとするものである。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 本発明はこの目的を達するために、絶縁物からなり被加
工物の溶着部を支持する環状の支持面を有する受治具と
、受治具の支持面との間で被加工物の溶着部に加圧力ひ
加える環状の加圧面を有し絶縁物からなる加圧治具と、
前記受治具の加圧面と加圧治具の加圧面の周囲に環状に
配置された高周波加熱用のワークコイルと、ワークコイ
ルの近くにワークコイルに沿って平行に配置された金属
リングとを具えたラミネート筒体溶着装置を構成したも
のである。
〔作用〕
第3図・に示すように、ワークコイル3の近くにワーク
コイル3に沿い平行に金属リング10を配置し、ワーク
コイル3に高周波電流を通ずると、電磁誘導作用により
金属リング10に電流を生じ、その電流の向きはワーク
フィルタに流れる電流の向きとは逆となる。このときワ
ークコイル3及び金属リング10に生ずる磁力線の向き
は第弘図に示すように互に逆向きとなり、ワークコイル
3によって発生する磁力線を、金属リング10によって
発生した磁力線が打消すように作用する。しかしワーク
コイルSと、金属リングIOとは接近して配置されてい
るので、両者の対向面の間では、磁力線は同一方向にな
るため強め合うことになり、結果的に金属リングIOが
ない時のワークコイルSによる磁力線の広がりを、金属
リング10を配置することによってワークフィルSと金
属リング10の間に集束させることができる。第5@に
示すように集束された部分での磁力@//の向きは、ワ
ークフィルS及び金属リングIOに対して軸方向ではな
く、径方向になる。この様にして集束された磁力線//
は、ワークコイルSと金属リング10の内部に置かれた
被加工物である筒体コの側面を放射状に貫く。これによ
り発生する電流7.2は、筒体コを周方向に流れるので
はなく、貫いた磁力線l/を軸とした微小面を第S図に
示すように円状に流れるが、これら微小面を流れる電流
/2は、合成されて、第6図に示すように、筒体コの周
方向に一本の帯状の合成電流/3となり、その電流の向
きは互に逆向きである。この合成電流13の基本単位は
、第5図に示したように、磁力線/lを軸とした微小面
であるため、合成電流/3の帯のどの部分でも均一な電
流密度が得られ、第13図に示したような流れ方はしな
い。
即ち金属リング10を配置することにより、合成電流1
3を筒体コの端部に集束でき、筒体λの端部を周方向に
おいて均一に加熱することができ、別に成形した口部3
との溶着を極めて安定に行なうことができる。
〔実施例〕
第1図は本発明装置の一実施例であって、アルミニウム
フィルムの両面にポリプロピレンフィルムなどの熱可塑
性樹脂フィルムを接着したラミネートフィルムを円筒状
に曲げ相対する縁を重ね合せて熱溶着して形成した第9
図に示したような細長の筒体コの一端に、別途熱可塑性
樹脂を成型して得た口部3を溶着加工するに用いるもの
である。
絶縁物製の受治具/lIの外周は、筒体コを嵌合できる
ように形成され、その一端には、筒体コの一端と口部3
との溶着部/ざを嵌合した状態で内側から支持する環状
の支持面16が形成されている。加圧治具lSは絶縁物
製で溶着部/gを支持面/6との間で加圧できるように
形成された環状の加圧面/りを有し、その外周に接近し
て銅パイプからなるワークコイル5が、加圧治具/3の
外周に設けた四部に環状に施されている。加圧治具/S
の端部にはワークコイルSに近接して黄銅部の金属リン
グ10が、筒体コの外周と接するように加圧治具/左に
ねじ結合されワークコイルSと平行して設けられている
0 この装置では受治具/グの端部の支持面/6に、口部3
の一端を嵌合し、口部3の外周を通して受治具/lIの
外周に筒体コを嵌合して、その一端を口部3の一端外周
と重ならせ、次いで加圧治具15の加圧面/7で筒体コ
の一端を、口部3の外周に圧着せしめ、相互の溶着部/
ざを支持面/6と加圧面/7との間で加圧した状態でワ
ークフィルタに高周波電流を通じて溶着部/gを溶着せ
しめる。
第2図は、本発明装置の他の実施例を示したもので、第
9図の筒体コと同様に形成された径の大きい筒体コの一
端に外方に張り出した7ランジを形成し、この7ランジ
にアルミニウムラミネートフィルムからなる蓋の縁を溶
着するように形成したものである。この例では、受治具
/グの支持面/6の上に重ねて金属リングlθが嵌合し
て乗せてあり、加圧治具/3の加圧面/りと金属リング
10との間に、筒体コのフランジと蓋/ワとを挾んで溶
着加工を行なうようにしたものであって、ワークコイル
3はフランジと蓋/9との溶着部/gの外周に位置して
加圧治具/3に保持せしめである。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、ラミネートフィルムを筒状に曲げ相対
する縁を溶着した筒体の端部にプラスチック部分を効率
よく溶着できる装置を提供できる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)絶縁物からなり被加工物の溶着部を支持する環状
    の支持面を有する受治具と、受治具の支持面との間で被
    加工物の溶着部に加圧力を加える環状の加圧面を有し絶
    縁物からなる加圧治具と、前記受治具の支持面と加圧治
    具の加圧面の周囲に環状に配置された高周波加熱用のワ
    ークコイルと、ワークコイルの近くにワークコイルに沿
    つて平行に配置された金属リングとを具えたラミネート
    筒体溶着装置。
