Claims (1)
力軸に変速機構を介して略平行に中間軸を連結し
、該中間軸に減速機構を介して略平行に出力軸を
連結し、該出力軸を前後輪間の回転数を補償する
差動ギア機構のデフケースに連結し、当該デフケ
ース内に設けられたサイドギアの第１のサイドギ
アに前輪側もしくは後輪側の回転軸のいずれか一
方を連結し、第二のサイドギアには第一の位置と
第二の位置に切換可能な切換ギアを設け、かつ該
第二のサイドギアと前記出力軸との間に粘性クラ
ツチを当該切換ギアの切換えによりこれら両者間
に介入自在に設け、前記切換ギアが第一の位置に
設定されると前記前輪側もしくは後輪側の回転軸
の他方が前記第二のサイドギアに連結すると共に
前記差動ギア機構のデフケースと該第二のサイド
ギアが粘性クラツチを介して連結された状態にな
り、当該切換ギアを第二の設定位置に設定すると
第二のサイドギアと前記他方の回転軸との連結が
解除され、かつ第二のサイドギアとデフケースと
が前記粘性クラツチを介さず直結状態に連結され
ることを特徴とする二輪・四輪駆動モード切換機
