Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) この発明はプラスチックからなる二つのワーク、例えば
シリコンオイルで回転が制動されるa−夕を内蔵したオ
イル式回転ダンパーのケースと蓋l高周波で溶着して固
定とシールを同時に行う改良された高周波溶着方法に関
する。つまり、精密部品、薄肉物などクエルダー条件を
強(できないものや、シール性を必要とする場合の高周
波溶着に特に有利な方法である。
(従来の技術) 従来は第6図に示す様にケースXの側壁コlの上端部内
周に段−を形成し、蓋Uには上記段−の内周に嵌合する
嵌合部ユタの下端の回りに斜面コを形成し、高周波クエ
ルダーホーンコ乙の下面を蓋コに上から押し当てること
により上記斜面コを側壁2ノの内周と段−が交わる角(
かど)コクに押付け、この部分な溶かして第7図に示す
様に溶着していた。
(発明が解決すべき問題点) 上記従来法では高周波ウエルダーホーンムが蓋nの上面
に振動な与え、その振動が蓋を介して斜面コと角コクの
接触部に伝わり、角コアが溶けて蓋3とケースXの溶着
が行われる。
従って、ホーン2乙の振動が実際に溶ける部分(角λり
)に直接伝わらないためウエルダー条件を強くする必要
があるので他に悪影響を及ぼす可能性がある。
更に、実際に溶けるのはケースの段nの角コアであり、
蓋の斜面コは溶ける量が少ないため蓋とケースが完全に
溶は合っていない部分が生じ、シールが不完全となるこ
ともある。
(問題点を解決するだめの手段) そこで本発明は溶着すべき二つのプラスチックからなる
ワークに相対面してはg同じ高さ突出し、背面は互いに
傾斜して高さ方向に肉厚が漸減する突出壁を形成し、上
記両突出壁を対面させ、高周波ウエルダーホーンには断
面形状が弾状の溝を設け、上記溝の上底部を対面した前
記両突出壁の上端に押付けて高周波振動を与えることを
特徴とする。
(作 用) これKよって各突出壁の上端部はホーンから直接加えら
れる振動で溶ゆ、しかもホーンの溝の断面形状の弧形と
、両突出壁の背面の傾斜によって各突出壁は互いに相手
の方向に寄せられ、溶けた部分は各突出壁の背面側に拡
がることができないので両突出壁の対面した間隙に溶は
合いながら流れ込み、一体になって固まり、溶着する。
(実施例) 図示の実施例はシリコンオイルなどのグリースlと、上
記グリース中で回転する回転子コの制御板3をケースダ
の収容部ダ′に収容し、回転子の軸に伝えられる回転力
で制動板3が回転するのをグリース/の粘性抵抗で制動
するオイル式回転ダンパーの上記プラスチックで成形し
たケースlと蓋jとを溶着する場合を示す。
ケースダは収容部ダ′の上に1収容部弘′よりも内径が
大きい環状段部を有し、その内周に蓋よをピッタリと嵌
合して受入れている。回転子コは制動板3が回りから張
出す軸6!有し、この軸の下端は収容部の底の中心に位
置決めされて当接し、上端は蓋よの中心の円形開口を貫
いて外に突出し、ラックや歯車と@合う被動歯車を固定
する。
蓋5の下面の周辺部は前述したケースの環状段部の底に
受止められる。
ケースの上面からは環状段部の内周から上に延長した内
周を有する環状突出壁7が突出し、蓋!の上面からは蓋
の外周が上に延長した外周を有する同様な環状突出壁t
が突出する。従って、蓋Sをケースの環状部に嵌込むと
ケースの環状突出壁りの内周と、菱の環状突出壁tの外
周は第2〜4図に誇張して示した様な間1!I?を保っ
て対面する。
各環状突出!!7、Sの上端は伺−レベルで、その背面
りJS′は夫々傾斜し、これによって各突出壁の肉厚は
上向きに減少する。
ケースと蓋を溶着するには高周波ウエルダーホーン//
の下面に断面形状が弧形の環状溝IOを形成し、上記環
状溝の上底部10’を対面している両突出!7、ざに上
から押付け、高周波振動を加える。
これによって先ず各突出壁り、ざの上端部がホーンから
直接加えられる高周波振動で溶融を始める(第2図参照
)。その後、溶融が逐次進行して両突出壁の高さは次第
に低くなる。この段階でホーンの環状溝10の弧形の断
面形状と、各突出壁の背面7′、g′の傾斜によって各
突出壁は互いに相手の方向に寄せられるため溶けた部分
は各突出壁の背面側に拡がることができず、両突出壁の
対面した間隙デに溶は合いながら流れ込む(第3図参照
)。
そして両突出壁の高さが成る程度、低くなったらホーン
を離し、溶融部分が固化するのを待ちケースと蓋の間に
一体となった溶着部12を形成し、ケースと蓋の間から
のグリースの洩れを防止することができる。
尚、軸6を伝ってのグリースの洩れは、こ〜では軸に0
リング/、yyf、;嵌め、蓋の開口の内周で0リング
を半径方向内向きに圧縮して防止する。
(発明の効果) 本発明では両方のワーク(ケースと蓋)の実際に溶着す
る突出壁7とSの上端部がホーンに密着し、高周波振動
が直接伝わるため弱いウエルダー条件でも、双方の突出
壁の上端部を同量宛溶融することができる。従って、高
周波振動で他の部分に変質等の悪影響を及ぼすことが無
いと共に、同量完溶は合い、一体となるため溶着むらは
生ぜず、非常に強力で且つ完全なシール効果を有する溶
着が行える。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 溶着すべき二つのプラスチックからなるワークに相対面
    してほゞ同じ高さ突出し、背面は互いに傾斜して高さ方
    向に肉厚が漸減する突出壁を形成し、上記両突出壁を対
    面させ、高周波ウエルダーホーンには断面形状が弧状の
    溝を設け、上記溝の上底部を対面した前記両突出壁の上
    端に押付けて高周波振動を与えることを特徴とする高周
    波溶着方法。
