Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute easily welding under pressure in a short time, and to simplify manufacturing equipment by rotating a conductive plate-shaped body under pressure at a position which becomes an electric contact surface, and executing the welding under pressure by utilizing heat due to its frictional heat. CONSTITUTION:A jig for welding under pressure is provided with a revolving shaft 3, a pressure surface 7, and a gear-shaped piece 6 which can be inserted into a bolt hole 5. The center part of a clad material 1 is provided with a hole 8 having a projection 4 fitted to the gear-shaped piece 6, and the gear- shaped piece passes through the hole 8 and the bolt hole 5. In this state, when the revolving shaft 3 is rotated by applying a rolling down force, since the gear-shaped piece 6 and the projection 4 of the hole 8 are engaged with each other, the clad material 1 is pressed and rotated together with the revolving shaft 3. As a result, an oxide film of aluminum electric conductor is scraped, and removed to the outside by a centrifugal force. Also, by frictional heat of the clad plate 1 and the aluminum electric conductor 2, the aluminum electric conductor 2 and the clad material 1 are heated and welded.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] However, in order to reliably crimp the aluminum plate and the clad plate and obtain a good electrical contact surface using this method, it is necessary to Requires steps such as removing the oxide film on the surface, placing an aluminum solder layer on the silver/copper clad plate, heating under pressure after placing the clad material on the aluminum plate, and removing excess solder after pressing. There was a drawback.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and to provide a method that removes the oxide film and heats and presses in one step when crimping a silver/copper clad plate to an aluminum plate, thereby achieving a good electrical connection. This paper attempts to provide a method for forming an electrically contacting surface of an aluminum conductor, and its gist is to add a conductive plate-like material to the position that will become the electrically contacting surface of an aluminum conductor. It is characterized in that the two are crimped using heat generated by friction, avoiding rotation while being compressed.

The crimping jig includes a rotating shaft 3, a pressing surface 7, and a gear-shaped piece 6 that can be inserted into the bolt hole 5. On the other hand, Figure 2 is a plan view of a cladding material 1 made of a conductive material, in which there is a height 8 in the center having a protrusion 4 that fits snugly with the gear-shaped piece 6, and a float as shown in Figure 1. The shaped piece 6 passes through the hole 8 of the cladding material 1 and directly through the bolt hole 5. In this state, the rotary shaft 3 is rotated as shown in the figure while being applied with a reduction blade.

Although it is preferable to use a silver/copper clad material as the abrasive material for forming the above-mentioned electrical contact surface, the present invention is not limited to this.
It may be tin/copper, copper alone, or the like. In some cases, a three-layer cladding material such as silver/copper/aluminum solder may be used, and the aluminum solder layer may be used as an adhesive layer.

Further, the shape and number of the protrusions at the center of the cladding material are not limited to the shape and number of the embodiments, but may be sufficient as long as they can impart rotation to the cladding material.
