CONSTITUTION:The heat-fusible ink layer 2 comprising a coloring material, e.g., a dye, a binder, e.g., carnauba wax, and a softener, e.g., vaseline, is provided on the base 1 such as cellophane by solvent coating or the like, and the resin adhesive layer 3 formed of a resin having a softening or melting point of preferably 50-180 deg.C, e.g., an acrylic resin, is applied to the ink layer 2 in a thickness of, e.g., about 0.2-2mum, to obtain the desired thermal transfer type recording medium.
