なる液晶表示装置において、該半導体基板上には
絶縁膜を介してアルミニウムもしくはアルミニウ
ム合金の多層配線構造及び反射電極を有し、該ア
ルミニウム配線上及び反射電極上の表面は凹凸形
状の繰り返しパターンを有し、該反射電極上の繰
り返しパターンのピツチと凹凸の起伏の高さとを
ほぼ等しくしたことを特徴とする液晶表示体装置

駆動用のMOSトランジスタをマトリツクス状に
配置した半導体基板を用いた液晶表示体装置にお
いて、該液晶として二色性染料とネマチツク液晶
の混合物を用いるゲストーホスト型駆動であり、
かつ該半導体基板は、アルミニウムもしくはアル
ミニウム合金の多層配線構造を有していることを
特徴とする液晶表示体装置。 (2) 一画素面積に占めるアルミニウムの多層配
線部の割合は、少なくとも50%以上であること
を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第一項記載
の液晶表示体装置。 (3) アルミニウムもしくはアルミニウム合金の
多層配線構造の一層は、液晶駆動電極を兼ねてい
ることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第一
