Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は血液／ヘッダ等に連通ずるプラスチックチュー
ブをシールする方法に関するものであり、シール後の引
き離しを容易にしたものである。
たとえば、輸液輸血用バッグ等にはバッグ相互間を連通
ずるチューブや、注射側と連通ずるチューブ等が接続さ
れていることはよく知られている。
これらのチューブは通常、可撓性のプラスチックででき
ており、たとえば注射針との連通チューブは採血後シー
ルされ、そのシール部において切り離されるのが通例で
ある。
こうしたプラスチックチューブｌをシールするに当って
は、従来第１図に示すように、シールへラド１０．１１
によりチューブｌをクランプして高周波加熱によりシー
ルしているものであるが、この方法ではシール部２が等
厚になっているため、シール後その部分を引きちぎる場
合、比較的強い力で引っ張る必要がある。
またシール部２における切断位置は一定せず、シール部
の一方に片寄った状態で９Ｊれることもしばしばみられ
る。このような状態でＶＪり熱れるとシール部２は強度
的に弱くなり、たとえば血液製剤の工程で血液バッグ等
を遠心分離器にかけた場合、シール切断部分が破損し、
内部の血液が飛び出たりして、結局全部の血液が使用不
能になる危険性もある。
本発明はこのような欠点を克服するために提案されたも
のであり、輸液輸血バッグに接続されたチューブのよう
な液入りプラスチックチューブをシールするにあたって
、該チューブをクランプするシールヘッドに突起部を形
成し、これにより該チューブをシールした際、シール部
のほぼ中央部に薄肉のカットラインを形成することによ
って、シール部での切り離しを容易に行なえるようにし
たものである。
以下本発明の具体的実施例を第２図に基すいて説明する
と、まず第２図（ａ）はチューブシーラのシールヘッド
を示したもので、本実施例へラド３のほぼ中央に形成さ
れおり、紙面に向って前後方向に所定長さ延びている。
また突起部４はシール部２の厚さ方向にできるだけ深く
食込むような高さとするのがよい。
なお、突起部４の断面形状は特に図示したものに限定さ
れるものではなく、シールｇｌ１２に部分的に薄肉部が
形成されるものであるならばいかなる形状であってもよ
い。また突起部４は必要に応じてシールヘッド３．３の
双方に形成してもよい。
こうした突起部４を有するシールへラド３によって第２
図（ｂ）（ｃ）のようにチューブ１をクランプして高周
波加熱等のシールをする。
これにより第２図（ｄ）（ｅ）に示すように、シール部
２のほぼ中央部に薄肉部５のラインが形成されることに
なり、このシール部２を左右に引っ張ると薄肉部５を境
にして容易に切り離されることになる。
以上のような本発明によれば、チューブをピー１゛シー
ルするに際し、シール部のほぼ中央部に薄肉部が形成さ
れるため、そのシール部を引っ張って切り離す場合、比
較的小さな力で容易に切り離すことができる。
したがって、従来のようにシール部の左または右方向の
片寄って切断することはないため、遠心分離器等にかけ
た場合であっても、そのシール部が破損する心配がなく
なり、その操作を安心して行なうことができる等種々の
優れた効果か得られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 液体が収納された容器に連通ずるプラスチックチューブ
    をシールするにあたり、該チューブをクランプするシー
    ルヘッドに突起部を形成して該チューブをシールし、シ
    ール部のほぼ中央部に薄肉部を形成することを特徴とす
    るプラスチックチューブのシール方法。
