DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Objective of the Invention) The present invention provides a method for connecting connecting threads having a melting temperature lower than the drying temperature of a dryer to the surface of an undried raw veneer containing a large amount of water. It is pasted with an adhesive having a melting temperature lower than the melting temperature of the doubling yarns, and in the final stage of the subsequent drying process, the connecting yarns and adhesive yarns are melted by the temperature of the veneer material that has reached the drying temperature. This invention relates to a side-splitting green veneer as an intermediate product that is configured so that the joint state can be released.

Conventional green veneers that are horizontally spun as this type of intermediate product include, for example, horizontally spliced raw veneers produced by the horizontally spliced method of JP-A-55-132201 Koji veneer, etc. When raw veneers are dried in the subsequent drying process, individual small width raw veneers may dry out during the drying process, knots or weak material parts may be missing, or cut edges may be damaged due to uneven drying shrinkage. There were material defects such as distortion of the edges and gaps between the mutually abutting parts, which needed to be re-repaired. Raya FT
, -p,,Sare 1, S4 mouth 1 and tried to cut and remove the defective parts by applying this again to the dry veneer cross-cutting machine etc., but even though the veneer was cut, the joining threads were not cut. There was a serious problem in that the chips that were to be removed could not be substantially removed.

The present invention is based on a thorough understanding of the phenomenon that causes material defects after drying that are unique to the horizontally spun raw veneers, and by first joining individual narrowly spliced raw veneers together, the workability of inserting them into the dryer is improved. As an intermediate product, it is possible to significantly improve filling efficiency, and by finally releasing the connection, it can eliminate any negative impact on the horizontal stripping work for subsequent re-repair. The purpose is to provide a new horizontally spliced raw veneer that can take two forms.

A side-splitting raw veneer in which a large number of narrow raw veneers 1 are continuously arranged in a direction orthogonal to the fiber direction, and a plurality of rows of connecting threads 2 are pasted with an adhesive 3 in the arrangement direction. In step 4, the connecting thread 2 is a yarn spun from a synthetic resin or the like having a melting temperature sufficiently lower than the drying temperature of the dryer, for example around 180°C, for example, a thread that melts at about 100 to 1200°C. The adhesive 3 is made of a glue such as a synthetic resin having a melting temperature sufficiently lower than the melting temperature of the connecting thread 2. For example, using an adhesive 3 made of a glue such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin (EVA) that can be melted at 60 to 800 C, it can be used as an intermediate product that initially becomes unconnected and eventually becomes unconnected. This is horizontally spun raw veneer 4. In addition, the bonded state of the horizontally spun raw veneer 4 is such that the connecting threads 2 and adhesive 3 gradually melt due to the temperature of the veneer material reaching the drying temperature in the dryer oven during the drying operation by the dryer in the later stage. Therefore, the initial bonded state is gradually released and the pieces are returned to the individual width dried veneers 6, which are then supplied to the subsequent repair process. Doubling thread 2
and the adhesive 3 function only to improve the insertion workability and filling efficiency when initially inserting the veneer veneer 1 into the dryer. It should be noted that the individual narrow-cut raw veneers 1 constituting the horizontally cut raw veneer 4 as an intermediate product shown in the figure are rough-cut veneers that are cut with some defective parts 5 remaining at the front and rear.
Of course, this may be constructed from a regular cut veneer that is cut without leaving any defective portions 5.

(Effects of the Invention) As mentioned above, the horizontally spun raw veneer 4 of the present invention has a connecting thread 2 on the surface which has a melting temperature sufficiently lower than the drying temperature of the dryer.
Since the cores are bonded together in a blind-like manner by an adhesive 3 with an even lower melting temperature, the workability and filling efficiency of inserting them into the dryer are as good as with conventional single cores. In addition, in the final stage of the drying process using a dryer, the binding threads 2 and adhesive 3 melt due to the drying temperature and are released from their joints again to form individual veneers 6. Therefore, even when re-repairing material defects in the horizontally spliced raw veneer 4 that occurred during the drying process, the re-repair can be carried out without any problems caused by the remaining binding threads 2 stuck to the surface. The implementation effect was that we were able to provide horizontal spliced veneer for the first time as a new intermediate product that can take two forms, a jointed state and an unjoined state, to safely carry out the cutting work of horizontal spliced veneers for dry veneers. This is a remarkable invention.
