Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は基板にサファイアを用いた時計用文字板に関す
るものである。
従来、金属よシなる基板を使用した文字板においては、
ブラシ等を用いて目付けをするとブラシの尚たり力次第
で目にむらが出ることがあった。
また、極端に基板を薄くすると目付けをした後に基板に
そシやゆがみが生じることが多かった。
本発明は基板にサファイアを使用し、この基板に直接目
付けをし、さらに基板上に金属層を形成することによシ
目をはつきシと見せ、前記従来例の欠点を解消すること
を目的とする。
以下図面に基づいて本発明の一実施例を説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例を示す断面図である。
１はサファイアよりなる基板であり、その裏面１ａに直
接目付けがされている。
２は基板１の裏面に形成された金属層である。
基板１は、第２図にも示すように、その裏面１ａに目が
付けられている。
本実施例においては、この基板１に目付けをするために
、ダイアモンドペーストを使用したブラシ加工が施こさ
れている。
一方金属Ｎ２は、基板１の裏面１ａに鋏咎を蒸着さぜる
ことにより形成するか、あるいは透明な導電膜を裏面１
ａに形成し電気メッキを施しても良い。　この金属層２
は、基板１に金属光沢を与えるとともに、基板１に付け
られた目を明確に基板表面側から見えるようにする役割
も果たしている。　第３図は本発明の他の実施例を示す
断面図である。
３はサファイアよりなる基板、４は基板６の裏面３ａ上
に形成されている金属層である。
本実施例においては、基板３の表面３ｂに目付けがされ
ており、平たん表裏面３ａ上に金属層４が形成されてい
る。　本実施例のように基板乙の表面に目付けをしても
、金属層４の働きによって金属光沢のある文字板に仕上
げることができる。
上記本発明によれば、・サファイアは極めて硬いため、
目付けをしたときに浅い溝が＃１ぼ均一化に形成され、
目を均一化することができ、かつサファイアは極めて平
たんな面を持つため、非常に美しい光沢を出すことがで
きる。
さらに、金属基板を用いた文字板は、極端に薄くすると
目刺けをした後にそりやゆがみが生じることが多いが、
本発明のように基板にサファイアを使用することにより
極〈薄くすることができ、しかも金属光沢を持たせると
とができる。
このように本発明は、金属光沢を有するサファイアを使
用した時計用文字板を提供するものである。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）サファイアよりなる基板と、該基板の一面上に形
    成される金属層とからなシ、前記基板に直接目付けをし
    たことを特徴とする時計用文字板。
  2. （２）前記基板はその裏面に目付けされ、該裏面上に前
    記金属層が蒸着にて形成されたことを特徴とする特許請
    求の範囲第１項記載の時計用文字板。
  3. （３）前記基板はその表面に目付けされ、かつその裏面
    上に前記金属層が蒸着にて形成されたことを特徴とする
    特許請求の範囲第１項記載の時計用文字板。
