In other words, an insulated trolley wire is constructed by covering a long molded conductor with an insulating cover having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and is usually laid as a long object by drum winding, coil winding, etc. The conductor is delivered to the site, the length is selected according to the length of the cable to be installed, and the length is selected and rolled out. Both ends of the conductor are connected to the bracket and laid under tension, while the insulating cover is left under no tension and fixed with a hanger to the specified collection. It provides the electrical parts.

By doing this, the insulating cover can prevent falling due to electric shock or melting, and it also has many features, such as a significant reduction in installation work, and since there are no connections, there is no need to worry about sparks. It is something. by the way,
When used in cold atmospheric conditions, the current collecting part of the conductor becomes frosted and iced, making it impossible to collect current, so heating or other means is required. For this reason, it is necessary to incorporate a heating wire. Yes, it is expensive and complicated.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide an insulated trolley wire that can be heated and installed under tension without incorporating a separate heating wire. An insulating layer is formed around stranded wires mainly made of metal with high tensile strength and high electrical resistance, and a highly conductive metal strip is vertically coated around the insulating layer, and on top of this, a highly conductive metal strip is vertically covered. The present invention provides a tension-laid type insulated trolley wire, characterized in that a substantially U-shaped insulating cover is formed so as to expose a part of the metal strip.

The following will be explained with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the insulated trolley wire of the present invention, in which 1 is a steel stranded wire, and 2 is a coating formed on the periphery of the stranded wire 1 by extrusion or tape winding. 3 is a copper strip coated vertically on the insulating layer 2 by means such as roll forming; 4 is an insulating cover made of vinyl material or the like and having a substantially U-shaped cross section; The strip 3 is coated by extrusion molding or the like,
The copper strip 3 is exposed in the opening 4a of the cover 4 to form a sliding surface for the current collector.

The installation method of the present invention involves winding the long insulated trolley wire into a drum, winding it into a coil, and transporting it to the site, feeding out and cutting the desired length in accordance with the installation route, and stripping the ends. Both ends of the steel stranded wire 1 are connected to a fixing bracket via an insulator or the like and placed under tension, and the insulating cover 4 is suspended and fixed at a predetermined position using a hanger.

According to the insulated trolley wire of the present invention, which is constructed as described above, it is possible to install the wire under tension and heat it with electricity without incorporating a heating wire. It is possible to solve problems such as wire breakage in this type of trolley wire at once, and it is economical.

In addition, heat can be generated from the center of the strip, and the heating efficiency is very good. Furthermore, since the strip covers the stranded wires vertically with no tension through the insulating layer, relative movement in the longitudinal direction with the stranded wires can be achieved by frictional sliding contact of the insulating layer. .

Therefore, even if there is a difference in thermal expansion/contraction behavior between the strip and the stranded wire, the strip can be freely expanded and contracted in its longitudinal direction without causing any problems, thereby eliminating strain on the sliding parts of the strip. This is a high-performance heated insulated trolley wire, and its effects are enormous.
