Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the size and the weight of a system and to enable the use of the system additionally as a carrying means between a warehouse and a cargo handling place, by a method wherein a rack and a carrying device, which is moved on rails installed in front of the rack and above a delivery and despatch work passage, are combined together so that a cargo can be delivered therebetween. CONSTITUTION:An elevating body 10, on which a cargo 39 is placed, is lifted to an upper limit position by means of a hoist 9, a running carriage body 8 is caused to run along a main guide rail, not shown, the elevating body is caused to enter an auxiliary guide rail 5b on a delivery and despatch work passage with the aid of a corresponding switching means 6b, and is brought to stop in a given position corresponding to specified cargo receiving parts 35, in which the cargoes are delivered, of racks 1 on both sides of a delivery and despatch work passage. うに、スタッカークレーンタイプの入出庫専用1駁送装
置とは別にフロア−コンベヤやオーバーヘッドコンベヤ
等の周辺搬送設備を設ける必要がなくなり、ラック前の
入出庫作業通路に於て入出庫作業を行わせる前記搬送装
置をして従来の周辺搬送設備に兼用させることが出来、
設備全体の大巾なコストダウンを図り得ると共に、前記
周辺搬送設備と前記入出庫専用I搬送装置との間での荷
の受渡し作業を省くことも出来るので、作業能率も向上
させ得る。
