(Prior Art and its Problems) Conventionally, the conveyance device used in this type of storage facility has generally been of the stacker crane type, which runs in the loading and unloading work passage in front of the rack. . In other words, the conventional stacker crane type transport device was large and heavy and equipped with a support higher than the height of the rack, which guided the lifting and lowering of the elevating carriage equipped with load transfer means such as running forks. However, this conveyance device itself had the drawback of being extremely expensive and requiring high operating costs. In addition, such a stacker crane type transport device occupies a large space along the entire length of the travel route from the floor to near the ceiling, and as mentioned above, the operating cost is high. Moreover, since it is heavy and unsuitable for high-speed operation, it is used as a special loading/unloading device that is used only in the loading/unloading work passage in front of the rack. It was also impossible to use it as a cargo transport means between a warehouse area including the loading/unloading work passage in front of the rack and another cargo handling work place separated from this warehouse area.

On the other hand, as in the multi-story warehouse described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-27971, a cargo delivery means is provided on a cart that can run on the floor of the loading/unloading work passage adjacent to the rack, and The truck itself, which has entered the truck, is raised and lowered by engagement between the drive gear provided on the truck and a rail equivalent to a rack gear provided on the rack side, and the truck is raised and lowered between the load receiving part of the rack at an arbitrary height and the truck. There is also known a storage facility configured to transfer cargo using a cargo transfer means on the trolley.

In such a trolley-lifting storage facility, the transport device itself is small and lightweight, and the trolley can also be used as a means of transport between the warehouse area and a cargo handling area remote from the warehouse area. Although it is possible to solve problems in storage equipment using a stacker crane, it requires a special means for lifting and lowering the cart, and since the cart itself must be driven up and down, the lifting load is large and a drive with a large capacity is required. There are problems that require solutions. Furthermore, if the rack is even slightly tilted or the construction accuracy is low, there is also the drawback that smooth and safe lifting and lowering cannot be performed.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, it is sufficient to support the cart above the loading/unloading work passage so that it can run along the passage, and to suspend the cargo delivery means from the cart so that it can be raised and lowered. However, since the load transfer means that is suspended in the loading/unloading work passage using wires or the like can swing back and forth and left and right, it is possible to prevent the load transfer means from swinging and to safely transfer the load between it and the load receiving section on the rack side. In addition, even when the cargo transfer means is raised directly below the cart and the cart is run, the suspended cargo transfer means must be prevented from swinging, and the cargo on the cargo transfer means must be prevented from swinging. It must be possible to transport it safely.

(Operations and Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the storage facility of the present invention, by hoisting the elevating movable body to the upper limit position using the hoist, the entire conveying device consisting of the elevating movable body and the traveling movable body can be Although it is possible to keep the rack in a compact state with a low height and run it along the guide rail, when loading and unloading the cargo into and out of each cargo receiving section of the rack, the elevating and lowering movable body is moved with a hoist to the traveling movable body. By lowering the elevating movable body, the elevating movable body can be made to correspond to the cargo receiving section of the rack at an arbitrary height, and the cargo can be transferred between the cargo receiving section on the rack side and the elevating movable body using the cargo transfer means of the elevating movable body. It can be done. Moreover, when the elevating movable body is moved up and down in the loading/unloading work passage in front of the rack, the elevating movable body is moved to a predetermined position relative to the rack due to the cooperative action of the elevating guide means on the rack side and the guided part on the elevating movable body side. It is possible to move up and down along the up and down path, and it is possible to safely enter and exit the warehouse without being affected by the inclination of the rack.

Further, when the elevating movable body is raised to the ascent limit position, the positioning means (guide rail 32 in the embodiment) on the traveling movable body engages with the guided portion on the elevating movable body, so that the elevating movable body is suspended. This eliminates the possibility of the vertical moving body swinging relative to the traveling moving body, and the load can be safely conveyed without the load collapsing even when the conveying device is running at high speed. Of course, the guided part used to position the elevating movable body at the ascent limit position functions as the easy-side elevating guide means when the elevating movable body is suspended in the loading/unloading work passage and goes up and down. It is something that engages and is not provided exclusively for positioning at the upper limit position. Therefore, the number of parts is small, the overall structure is simple, and it can be implemented at low cost.

For the above-mentioned reasons, the conveyance device in the storage facility of the present invention uses a rack equipped with load receiving sections in multiple stages in the vertical direction, similar to the conventional stacker crane type conveyance device, in the loading/unloading work passage in front of the rack. As shown in the example, it is used as a small, lightweight, and low-cost trolley conveyor-type conveyance device for transportation routes other than the loading and unloading work passages. You can.

Moreover, since the conveyance device is of a type in which only the elevating and lowering movable body equipped with the cargo transfer means is suspended by a hoist, it is possible to not only effectively utilize the floor space, but also to
A special elevating/lowering drive means or a high-capacity elevating/lowering driving means, which is required when raising and lowering the entire cart along a rack, is not required, and the system can be implemented at low cost. Of course, unlike when an elevating movable body is driven up and down by a gear equivalent to a rack gear on the rack side and a gear meshing therewith, the elevating movable body is not affected by the dimensional accuracy or inclination of the rack side, and the elevating movable body can always be moved smoothly and safely. It can be raised and lowered.
