Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ハウジング側に取り付けられる非回転のシールリングと
    、回転軸側に取り付けられ、回転軸に対して従動回転す
    るフローティングシートとの摺接により流体の洩れを阻
    止するメカニカルシールにおいて、前記シールリングお
    よびフローティングシートの少なくとも一方の摺接面の
    接液側の部分に、流体を吸込む方向に傾斜した所要数の
    溝を設けるとともに、同大気側の部分に、流体を前記接
    液側へ向けて吐出する方向に傾斜した所要数の溝を設け
    てなることを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
