近年、公害問題により燃料の無鉛化が進んでいるが、高
鉛燃料も諸外国を中心に未だ広く使用されている。高鉛
燃料使用の内燃機関にあっては、1−I OA等の腐食
雰囲気が強い為、一般に使用されている摺動面のクロム

即ら、鋳鉄又は[4ピストンリングの全表面に窒化処理
を施し、更に外周面は窒化処理層から化合物層を除去し
て拡散層を露出させた後、該拡散図上にメッキ又は溶射

ッキ、溶射を施J場合及びリング摺動向に直接メッキ、
溶射を施′81場合いずれにa3いても上下面の叩かれ
摩耗を防止し、かつ相采効果によって摺動面の耐摩耗性
