Abstract

PURPOSE:To provent the incomplete burning by a method wherein a pressure detecting part is provided between a heat exchanger and a fan in an instantaneous water heater, a pressure is detected with a sensor, then the burning is stopped when the pressure of the pressure detecting part decreases less than the presetting pressure. CONSTITUTION:A pressure detecting part 10 is provided between a heat exchanger 3 and a fan 7, a pressure sensor 11 is connected to the pressure detecting part 10. By the blocking of the heat exchanger 3, the intaking side pressure of the fan 7 is turned into negative pressure state, accordingly, for instance, the pressure of the pressure detecting part 10 is made approximate -10mm.H2O at the 45% blocking ratio, approximate -20mm.H2O at the 50% blocking ratio of the heat exchanger. The pressure sensor 11 is made to be operated at the 45% blocking ratio in the heat exchanger 3, and the burning is stopped, therefore, the incomplete burning caused by the fin part blocking of the heat exchanger can be prevented.

Existing conventional examples and their problems For example, in the conventional instantaneous water heater shown in Fig. 1, the water inlet 1
The water flowing in is heated by a burner 4 in a heat exchanger 3 by activating a flow switch 2, and then flows out to a hot water outlet 5. Combustion in the burner 4 is controlled by a gas controller 6. On the other hand, the exhaust gas that has passed through the heat exchanger 3 is discharged to the outside of the device through the exhaust top 8 by the fan 7. fan 7
is equipped with a rotation speed detection unit 9, which constantly detects whether or not the fan 7 is rotating, and stops combustion if an abnormality occurs.

A combustor that uses a fan to forcefully discharge exhaust gas has much higher safety features such as wind resistance and combustion stability than a conventional combustor that uses natural draft. However, if a fin-shaped heat exchange part is used, such as in an instantaneous water heater, the fin part will become clogged over a long period of use, and as a result, the heat exchanger will become blocked, and the fan will force the exhaust air. However, the amount of exhaust gas decreases, causing incomplete combustion. Figure 2 shows an example of data when a heat exchanger is blocked. If the horizontal axis shows the heat exchanger blockage rate and the vertical axis shows CO/CO2, then CO/CO2, which represents combustibility when the heat exchanger is about 50% blocked, is shown. It can be seen that the value of CO2 is about 0.02 of the JIS standard.

Summary of the Invention In order to achieve the above object, the instantaneous water heater of the present invention includes a pressure detection section between the heat exchanger and the fan, detects the pressure with a pressure sensor, and detects the pressure when the pressure is below a predetermined pressure. This has the effect of stopping combustion and preventing incomplete combustion when this occurs.

In FIG. 3, a pressure detection section 10 is provided between the heat exchanger 3 and the fan 7, and a pressure sensor 11 is connected to the pressure detection section 10. The pressure of the pressure detection unit 10 is shown in FIG. 4. An example of the data is shown in FIG.
Approximately -10mm H20 at %, -20mm H at 50%
70. This is because the suction side of the fan 7 becomes negative pressure as the heat exchanger 3 is closed. In other words, the characteristics are very similar to the CO/CO2 characteristics shown in FIG. Here, if the set pressure of the pressure sensor 11 is -10 mm H20, the blockage rate of the heat exchanger 3 is 45%, the pressure sensor 11 is activated, and combustion is stopped. According to Fig. 2, the blockage rate is 4.5%, and Co/CO2 is below the JIS standard of 0.02. Incomplete combustion due to clogging of the fin portion of the heat exchanger 3 is thereby prevented.
