れていき、ファンにより強制的に排気をしても排ガス量
が減少し、不完全燃焼の原因となる。第2図は熱交換器
閉塞時のデーターの一例で、横軸に熱交換器閉塞率、縦
軸にCO/COをとると、約50%の熱交換器の閉塞で燃
焼性を表わすCO/COの値がJIS基準の0.02程度
となることがわかる。

Oの特性と良く似ている。ここで圧力センサー11の
設定圧力を−10mmHOとすると熱交換器3の閉塞
率は45%で圧力センサー11が作動し、燃焼は停止さ
れる。閉塞率45%は第2図によればCO/COはJIS
基準の0.02以下である。ここに熱交換器3のフィン
部の詰りによる不完全燃焼は防止される。
