Conventionally, sportswear such as training shirts have been sewn from knitted fabric with a certain degree of elasticity, and have relatively high breathability (100 to 300 cc/4/s ecJIS).
L-1018), when exposed to strong winds in winter, cold air penetrates through the stitches, making it feel very cold. In addition, in waterproof sports outerwear, the fabric is completely covered with solidified synthetic resin, which inhibits the elasticity characteristic of knitted material, making it uncomfortable to wear, and can also cause wear during strenuous activities such as jogging. There were some drawbacks, such as being easily damaged.

That is, this invention provides a windproof knitted fabric in which a synthetic resin in emulsion or solution form is applied to one side of the knitted fabric and solidified to fill the gaps between the stitches, and a synthetic resin in emulsion or solution form is injected into the fabric. A resin coating device is equipped with a resin coating device consisting of a rotary screen drum with a large number of fine holes perforated on its circumferential surface, and a presser roller that presses and interlocks with this screen drum from below.
Manufacture of windproof knitted fabric using a spatula-shaped fixing plate that is inscribed in the screen, and using this fixing plate to discharge synthetic resin from the screen, rubbing it onto the knitted fabric passing through, and subjecting it to post-processing such as drying. It's a method.

Hereinafter, a practical example of this invention will be explained based on the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the windproof knitted fabric of the present invention has a thermoplastic synthetic resin 3 in emulsion or solution form on the back side 2 of a weft knitted fabric made of knitting yarn 1 such as processed polyester yarn. It is applied and solidified to fill the first stitch gap, and a part of the yarn 4 of the knitting yarn 1 on the back surface is exposed. This synthetic resin 3 is a relatively thin layer that only fills the stitch voids on one surface 2, and has a thickness of 20 to 10% relative to the yarn weight.
It was molded to a weight ratio of 0.00%, with no leaching on the surface 5 side, no change in the stitches in appearance, and no major change in elasticity. In addition, this synthetic resin 3 is strongly adhered to the knitting yarn 1, so it will not fall off even after repeated washing, and there will be little change in breathability after that (see examples) a
In this windproof knitted fabric, the back side of the knitted fabric is not entirely covered with synthetic resin and a portion of the knitting yarn 1 is exposed, so it is thought that a small amount of air permeability remains.

As the main resin for the treatment agent for the synthetic resin 3, acrylic ester resin, silicone resin, urethane resin, etc. are suitable. In addition, as an auxiliary resin, it assists the film formation of the main resin and improves the functions such as crosslinking and impact resilience of this film.
A crosslinking agent such as melamine resin or polyester resin, and an elastic resin such as heat-reactive water-soluble urethane resin are added. In addition, softeners, plasticizers, water repellents, thickeners, and the like may be added as appropriate (see Examples for details). Thickener is a substance that adjusts the viscosity of the processing agent and gives it appropriate adhesion.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the resin f cloth portion 12 includes a rotary screen drum 16 having a large number of fine holes 15 in its curved surface, and a presser foot interlocked with pressure contact with the screen drum 16 from below. It consists of a roller 17. A mixing tank 19 is attached to the screen drum 16 for replenishing the resin treatment agent 18 into the interior thereof. It is rotationally driven by the gear 23 to the same surface speed as the presser roller 17.
