    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 車両用エンジンの一以上のシリンダに通常の吸気弁及び
    排気弁とは別個に設けられた第３の弁を、車両のエンジ
    ンブレーキ走行時に、ピストンの圧縮上死点付近及び排
    吸気上死点付近で開くと共に、上記エンジンの排気管内
    に、同排気管の通路面積を制御する排気ブレーキ弁を設
    は一車両のエンジンブレーキ走行時に同排気ブレーキ弁
    を閉じるように構成したことを特徴とする車両における
    ブレーキ装置。
