    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの排気通路面積を制御することによってエンジ
    ンブレーキ作用を生起する装置及び圧縮上死点付近で吸
    気弁、排気弁又は専用の第３弁を開くことにより圧縮さ
    れた空気をシリンダ外に排出スることによってエンジン
    ブレーキ作用を生起する装置の少くとも一方を具備して
    なるものにおいて、上記工２ジンブレーキ装置が、変速
    装置のニュートラル位置では作動しないように構成され
    ていることを特徴とするエンジンブレーキ装置。
